Hi guys, I’m back with a super sweet card that shows how easy it is to use pattern paper to create a scene. For today’s project I used Door to Door, Door to Door Roof, Door to Door Winter Decor, Door to Door Decor and Door to Door Molding, and Build a Scene Christmas Paper Pack to create my cozy look.
I really love how Door to Door Molding has the cut out windows. I chose the tree and fireplace pattern paper so we would be able to get a ‘cozy view’ of the living room. I always find it cozy in the winter to drive by homes and see the Christmas trees lit up. I also used the green polka dotted pattern paper from the same paper pack for the garland and the layering piece on the wreath. It may be hard to see, but I really like how the roof and molding have the embossed lines on them.
I hope you all have a great week, thanks for stopping by!
Hi guys, it’s Release Day (YAY!) and all of the new products are now available at Taylored Expressions. I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this month’s release.
I am not one to usually use pink as a Christmas color but I wanted to step outside the box and give it a try. I used an previously released stamp set, Simply Stamped Pinecones along with a new release, Ornamental and Die Combo, for my card. I used Playful Patterns paper pack and Stitched Oval Stacklets to frame my images. I stamped the pinecones and pine branches and put vellum over the image. I love how it softens the look!
I used a sentiment from Ornamental and stamped it directly onto the vellum, then added a few sequins and the ornaments.
I finished the card by adhering the ornaments with foam tape. I love dimension in my projects! I hope you’ll go take a peek at the new goodies being released today. Thanks for stopping by!
Hi guys, I’m back to share with you how I use lists in my planner. I am a list girl and write lists (it seems) all the time. Sometimes it’s on a sticky note, other times it’s in my planner, but with four kids I find I’m always having to remember something.
Here is my weekly layout for this week and as much as I love a decorated planner, I’m a clean and simple girl at heart. For this week, I used Makin’ a List for my boxes and I love that I can add as many as I need to, wherever I need to. I am also slightly obsessed with the push pin from Planner Girl and used that for my mundane tasks that I need to get done. I stamped those separately in color.
I love keeping pictures of my kids in my planner and so I made a little pocket and added a little picture in there. I also added a lone embellishment by attaching a leaf I stamped and die cut. I know I kept my layout simple this week but this actually helps me stay organized. lol!
I’d love to know how you use lists in your planner too! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi guys, I’m back to share my weekly layout for this week. Can you believe it’s the end of September already? This month flew by and October is almost here! As you can see, I took my Happy Planner and put it in my A5 Filofax. I wanted to do a fall theme layout and used a few die cuts to help me.
I had a lot of fun using By Appointment Only, Oh My Quad, Clean Freak and Mini Leaves for this layout. I love how the Clearly Planned line works so well, not only for my weekly layouts, but also for my monthly layouts and lists. I use these three sets the most right now and find them so useful!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi everyone, I’m back to share my favorite planner! Okay, okay, so I have more than one favorite, but that’s the beauty of being a planner addict…(eventually) you’re able to try them all out. I have two planners shown, one in personal (Gillio), and the bigger one is an A5 Filofax. I mainly use the personal size, but have used an A5 off and on for years. What I love about my Gillio are the pockets, layout, and especially the leather. The leather is so soft and smells amazing! What I love about the Filofax is the simplicity and overall look of it…and the leather smells pretty good too, lol!
When I first open my planner, I like having pictures of my family to greet me. The pictures might be old or new, but they are always there. I love to keep my sections divided by tabs and I change them as needed. As you can see, I used Work Out for my exercise section and made a little tracker. In my previous post I shared some of the other tabs/dividers I like to use and I used some of the same ones in my personal planner. I really love the paperclip stamp and use that for my miscellaneous notes.
I die cut the word “Today” from Chunky Alpha from toner sheets and foiled it…then made it into a clear divider. It is a little beat up looking as I’ve used it for a long time, but I love it. It makes it easy to find the day I need to be on. I have used a lot of different inserts and definitely have my favorites.
I love using Sticky Situation sticky notes and I have a sticky note that has some of my daughter’s birthday list on it. I’m sure I’ll have to add more to it as her birthday isn’t until next month. Good thing I have plenty of room!
I’m also sharing a weekly layout from my A5 Filofax in Duck Egg (I love this color!) and wanted to show off the little push pins. They are so adorable and make perfect little bullet ticks for my lists. You’ll see me using them a lot for lists. I hope you enjoyed seeing a glimpse into my favorite planner. What planner(s) do you use?
Hi guys! Today I’m sharing some tabs I made for my A5 Planner. I’m not sure how many of you have planners, but planners are something I’ve had for years. What helps keep me organized? Tabs, tabs and more tabs. I have top and side tabs and I love how I can customize and change them, whenever I need to.
I made side tabs using (discontinued) Martha Stewart tabs for my planner using stamps from Taylored Expressions newest line, Clearly Planned.
What are my sections and how do I use them? I use “today“, that’s my calendar and weeklies. “Best. Day. Ever” which is perfect for jotting down those moments you want to remember, an RX bottle to keep track of prescriptions, that adorable piggy face that keeps my overall meal planning/specific recipes, Make it Sparkle for an overall cleaning list…and Dear Fat Prepare to DIE….which is my favorite! I’m sure you can guess what that tab is for! ;) What sections do you have in your planner?
Hi guys! I’m back with a fun Happy Birthday card that uses one of my favorite things, alphabet dies! I love how these dies, Sweet & Simple Alpha – Upper, fit inside of the balloons from Up, Up & Away Cutting Plate. I love cheery balloons and think they make sweet birthday cards. I have a lot of birthdays coming up in the next couple of months and can never have enough birthday cards on hand.
This card is all die cut and even though I like to get inky, it’s fun to see what other kind of cards I can make without stamping. I die cut the balloons from Granny Smith, Lollipop, Lemon Meringue and Cookie Monster cardstock. I added some matching bakers twine and bows (I was happy I had all the colors).🙂 Cloud Duo was perfect for my background and I framed it in Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 2. What kind of birthday cards do you like to create?
