Weekly Planner Layout

Hi guys, I’m back to share my weekly layout for this week.  Can you believe it’s the end of September already?  This month flew by and October is almost here!  As you can see, I took my Happy Planner and put it in my A5 Filofax.  I wanted to do a fall theme layout and used a few die cuts to help me.

I had a lot of fun using By Appointment Only, Oh My Quad, Clean Freak and Mini Leaves for this layout.  I love how the Clearly Planned line works so well, not only for my weekly layouts, but also for my monthly layouts and lists.  I use these three sets the most right now and find them so useful!

Thanks for stopping by!

SUPPLY LIST:

My Favorite Planner

Hi everyone, I’m back to share my favorite planner!  Okay, okay, so I have more than one favorite, but that’s the beauty of being a planner addict…(eventually) you’re able to try them all out.  I have two planners shown, one in personal (Gillio), and the bigger one is an A5 Filofax.  I mainly use the personal size, but have used an A5 off and on for years.  What I love about my Gillio are the pockets, layout, and especially the leather.  The leather is so soft and smells amazing!  What I love about the Filofax is the simplicity and overall look of it…and the leather smells pretty good too, lol!

When I first open my planner, I like having pictures of my family to greet me.  The pictures might be old or new, but they are always there.  I love to keep my sections divided by tabs and I change them as needed.  As you can see, I used Work Out for my exercise section and made a little tracker.  In my previous post I shared some of the other tabs/dividers I like to use and I used some of the same ones in my personal planner.  I really love the paperclip stamp and use that for my miscellaneous notes.

I die cut the word “Today” from Chunky Alpha from toner sheets and foiled it…then made it into a clear divider.  It is a little beat up looking as I’ve used it for a long time, but I love it.  It makes it easy to find the day I need to be on.  I have used a lot of different inserts and definitely have my favorites.

I love using Sticky Situation sticky notes and I have a sticky note that has some of my daughter’s birthday list on it.  I’m sure I’ll have to add more to it as her birthday isn’t until next month.  Good thing I have plenty of room!

I’m also sharing a weekly layout from my A5 Filofax in Duck Egg (I love this color!) and wanted to show off the little push pins.  They are so adorable and make perfect little bullet ticks for my lists.  You’ll see me using them a lot for lists.  I hope you enjoyed seeing a glimpse into my favorite planner.  What planner(s) do you use?

SUPPLY LIST:

Planner Tabs…What Sections Do I Have?

Hi guys!  Today I’m sharing some tabs I made for my A5 Planner.  I’m not sure how many of you have planners, but planners are something I’ve had for years.  What helps keep me organized?  Tabs, tabs and more tabs.  I have top and side tabs and I love how I can customize and change them, whenever I need to.

I made side tabs using (discontinued) Martha Stewart tabs for my planner using stamps from Taylored Expressions newest line, Clearly Planned.

What are my sections and how do I use them?  I use “today“, that’s my calendar and weeklies.  “Best. Day. Ever” which is perfect for jotting down those moments you want to remember, an RX bottle to keep track of prescriptions, that adorable piggy face that keeps my overall meal planning/specific recipes, Make it Sparkle for an overall cleaning list…and Dear Fat Prepare to DIE….which is my favorite!  I’m sure you can guess what that tab is for!  ;)  What sections do you have in your planner?

HB 2U

Hi guys!  I’m back with a fun Happy Birthday card that uses one of my favorite things, alphabet dies!  I love how these dies, Sweet & Simple Alpha – Upper, fit inside of the balloons from Up, Up & Away Cutting Plate.  I love cheery balloons and think they make sweet birthday cards. I have a lot of birthdays coming up in the next couple of months and can never have enough birthday cards on hand.

This card is all die cut and even though I like to get inky, it’s fun to see what other kind of cards I can make without stamping.  I die cut the balloons from Granny Smith, Lollipop, Lemon Meringue and Cookie Monster cardstock.  I added some matching bakers twine and bows (I was happy I had all the colors).🙂  Cloud Duo was perfect for my background and I framed it in Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 2.  What kind of birthday cards do you like to create?

May Your Blessings Be As Many as the Colors of Autumn

Happy 8th birthday, Taylored Expressions!  I am so excited for September’s release as there are so many amazing products this month!  It’s Release Day and all of the new products are now available.  I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this release…Autumn is one of my favorite seasons and this month’s release does NOT disappoint!

I used Simply Stamped Leaves and die combo for my card today and I absolutely love stamps that are layered.  Layered stamps really give you a lot to work with creatively.  I used Taylored Expressions Premium Inks and gold embossing powder for my leaves.  I wanted warm tones for my background and used Gansai Tambi Starry Colors paint to achieve this.  I also used the veins of one of the leaf stamps for my background and really like how it ties in with the Autumn feeling.

Taylored Expressions is celebrating its 8th birthday with some fun party favors! These include everything from the exclusive WISH BIG stamp & die combo set to patterned paper packs, ink, and more!

Clearly Planned Release Day!

Happy Thursday!  It’s release day and all of the NEW Clearly Planned products are now available at Taylored Expressions!  Whoop whoop!  I have a few more layouts using these fun, new, stamps, dies and sticky notes (that’s right, sticky notes!)!

Here is my weekly layout, again using sticker paper, sticky notes and dies.  I used the last row of my weekly as a meal planner.  I don’t know about you but I find it much easier to plan my meals ahead of time so I don’t buy a ton of extras at the store.  Not that I’ve ever done that before, right?  Haha!

I also want you to take a look at the NEW Sticky Situation notes (don’t you love the name?!?) that are sooooo perfect and customizable!  I use stickies and lists ALL the time and these make me so happy!  I keep them on my page marker, which makes it easy for me to see them…and also to move them to the next day or week, if they don’t get completed.  As with the monthly layout, I also used mini sticky notes along with the stamps to customize and add color to my planner.  I left one sticky note blank for me to fill in my notes, errands and lists as the day goes on.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the girls on the Creative Team are up to.  There’s a lot of inspiration to see and did I mention, ways to win gift certificates to the Taylored Expressions store?  If you haven’t already commented on my IG (@craftyshell3) to win a $10 gift certificate to Taylored Expressions, be sure to do so.  Drawing will be held on Sunday, August 21st and I don’t want you to miss out!

Clearly Planned Sneak Peek!

Happy Wednesday!  Hi, guys, today is the day I am able to share my sneak peek of the new Clearly Planned line at Taylored Expressions!  I cannot tell you how happy I am to finally show what I’ve been working on.

I really like how easy it is to mix and match these stamps, and especially how I was able to use them with post it notes to create my own, custom, stickies.  This is my monthly August spread and these images are perfectly sized to fit within the spaces.  Some of them I stamped onto sticker paper, colored, and cut out, and some of the images I stamped directly on the dates and then colored.  **TIP** I stamped several images a number of times onto sticker paper and colored, so I would have stickers ready to go.  There are also removable circle stickers in three sizes that you can get for numbers, dates, icons and whatever else you can think of.  I used them for the $ sign on days I balance the books.

If you are a list maker/lover, then you will love the icons, images and ideas that are being released!  I happen to love seeing pictures in my planners and so, you will see me use photos a lot in my monthlies, weeklies and dailies.  I put one next to the dentist appointments I have for two of my kids…it keeps it fun to see a smiling face next to it.

So you’re probably wondering when these new stamps and accessories will be available?  You won’t have to wait long as they’ll be available Thursday, August 18 at 7am PST (that’s tomorrow!).

WAIT! You won’t want to leave before subscribing to the Clearly Planned newsletter (you’ll also get an exclusive coupon for signing up).  It’s a great way to receive fresh inspiration right to your mailbox and see what’s new.

If you’re looking for chances to win a gift certificate to the Taylored Expressions store, be sure to check out the Taylored Expressions Blog and my Instagram account @craftyshell3 for the details.

Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be back tomorrow with more inspiration!  In the meantime, check out what the rest of the Creative Team has to share:
