It’s release day at Taylored Expressions and all of the new Clearly Planned products are now available!  I had so much fun with these products.  Christmas Critters was one of my favorites as the critters are truly sweet and so fun to color.  There are some awesome list stamps that I’ll be using throughout the year and I love the new Flag It dies.  Did you see anything that caught your eye?

Be sure to come back next week as I’ll have a new twist on how to use Clearly Planed stamps in your planner.  Thanks for stopping by!

Choose Happy

Hi guys, today is the last day for sneak peeks and I have one final layout to share with you.  This one uses Happy Girl and I love how sweet she is!  I stamped her onto cardstock and colored her with Copics, then cut her out and placed her exactly where I wanted her.  I stamped confetti around her and her happiness is so catchy!

I used Sign Me Up for her banner and “give hugs” note.  I also used two new alphas, Doodle Me Alpha and Playful Alpha, I’m crazy about these fonts!  Last but not least, Day by Day and  Sticky Situation Three proved to be helpful with my menu planning for next week.  I’m loving how versatile the sticky notes are!  Release day is tomorrow, Nov 3rd, at 7 AM PST…it’s going to be exciting!

Make a Face

Hi everyone, I’m back today with my second sneak peek for Taylored Expressions Clearly Planned.  Today’s weekly layout incorporates two super fun sets, Make a Face and Today’s Mood.

I think Make a Face is the cutest set, perfect for tracking moods or just noting what kind of day it was.  Paired with Today’s Mood, I was really able to customize my faces and loved “Hangry”.  Have you ever been hangry?  lol!

I stamped the faces onto sticker paper, colored them and cut them out (so fast to do!).  I think they look adorable with Little Bits Mini Frame 1 and I loved how I was able to stamp the mood on the frame.  I will be making some of these fun faces for my daughter’s planner as well.

I also used a new alpha, Playful Alpha, to stamp out my daughter’s birthday.  I love the font so much!  Having the individual letters means I can space my letters exactly how I want them.

There are so many awesome new products being released, I can hardly wait to share my last sneak peek tomorrow!  All of the new products will be available Thursday, November 3 at 7am PST.  Has anything caught your eye yet?  :)

Christmas Critters Monthly Layout

Hi everyone, I’m back with a super fun sneak peek for your planner!  I’m so excited for this month’s Clearly Planned Release!  Sneak peeks start today (yay!) and everything will be available Thursday, November 3rd at 7AM PST.

Christmas Critters is simply put, a must have, for your planner.  The little critters are adorable and didn’t take much to get me into the holiday spirit.  This set comes with dies that are purchased separately, however, I loved using them so I could put my critters exactly where I wanted them . There are so many words for lists and reminders to stamp in the signs of the penguin and bear.  It’s a fun way customize your signs.

I’m super excited about this release, there are so many goodies you’re not going to want to miss!  I hope you come back tomorrow to see another sneak peek!

Door to Door Christmas Scene

Hi guys, I’m back with a super sweet card that shows how easy it is to use pattern paper to create a scene.  For today’s project I used Door to Door, Door to Door Roof, Door to Door Winter Decor, Door to Door Decor and Door to Door Molding, and Build a Scene Christmas Paper Pack to create my cozy look.

I really love how Door to Door Molding has the cut out windows.  I chose the tree and fireplace pattern paper so we would be able to get a ‘cozy view’ of the living room.  I always find it cozy in the winter to drive by homes and see the Christmas trees lit up.  I also used the green polka dotted pattern paper from the same paper pack for the garland and the layering piece on the wreath.   It may be hard to see, but I really like how the roof and molding have the embossed lines on them.

I hope you all have a great week, thanks for stopping by!

May Your Home Be Filled With the Joy and Wonder of Christmas

Hi guys, it’s Release Day (YAY!) and all of the new products are now available at Taylored Expressions.  I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this month’s release.

I am not one to usually use pink as a Christmas color but I wanted to step outside the box and give it a try.  I used an previously released stamp set, Simply Stamped Pinecones along with a new release, Ornamental and Die Combo, for my card.  I used Playful Patterns paper pack and Stitched Oval Stacklets to frame my images.  I stamped the pinecones and pine branches and put vellum over the image.  I love how it softens the look!

I used a sentiment from Ornamental and stamped it directly onto the vellum, then added a few sequins and the ornaments.

I finished the card by adhering the ornaments with foam tape.  I love dimension in my projects!  I hope you’ll go take a peek at the new goodies being released today.  Thanks for stopping by!

How I Use Lists In My Planner

Hi guys, I’m back to share with you how I use lists in my planner.  I am a list girl and write lists (it seems) all the time.  Sometimes it’s on a sticky note, other times it’s in my planner, but with four kids I find I’m always having to remember something.

Here is my weekly layout for this week and as much as I love a decorated planner, I’m a clean and simple girl at heart.  For this week, I used Makin’ a List for my boxes and I love that I can add as many as I need to, wherever I need to.  I am also slightly obsessed with the push pin from Planner Girl and used that for my mundane tasks that I need to get done.  I stamped those separately in color.

I love keeping pictures of my kids in my planner and so I made a little pocket and added a little picture in there.  I also added a lone embellishment by attaching a leaf I stamped and die cut.  I know I kept my layout simple this week but this actually helps me stay organized.  lol!

I’d love to know how you use lists in your planner too!  Thanks for stopping by!
