Oh Baby

Hello!  I have super cute card today using this sweet Onesie die.  I couldn’t help myself, I had to dress it up a bit.  I tried a few different combinations at first, but in the end, decided on this white onesie, with a little bling and a soft pink tutu.

ShellyOnesie4.24.2

The cute star is from Star Stacklets…I love the gold bling!  The “tutu” is part of a fabric flower I had.  I’ve fallen in love with Postage Stacklets too and used Double the Joy Matched Kit for the beautiful paper and card stock.  Look at that adorable skirt!

Hi guys, I’m back today with a card I made using Lea Lawson’s gorgeous card for inspiration!  I fell in love with her watercolored background and use of dies.  I had to give it a try!  For my card, I used watercolor card stock and some Gansai  Tambi watercolor paint to add some gorgeous blues and purples.

I just love the Bistro Lights cutting plate and used it with some giltter card stock.  This cutting plate is awesome in that it also includes a die that cuts the circles for layering.  I thought this theme was perfect for a Congrats (party) card…the sentiment is from P&P May Script.

Shining Star

I used glittered card stock behind my stars and really love the sparkle that shines through.  I added a few stars from Star Stacklets and used vellum and more glittered card stock as my accent pieces.  I love the effect the vellum gives!

Hi guys, it’s the last day for Sneak Peeks and tomorrow, all of the new products will be available!  Take a look at what I have to share today…a new layered stamp set called, Simply Stamped Zinnias and Die Combo.  These stamps have 2 to 3 gorgeous layers for the flowers and stems.  I wanted to make the gorgeous zinnias into a background and used vellum to soften it a bit.

Simply Stamped Zinnias

The pretty leaf swirls are from We Give Thanks, and I thought they added a nice touch to the card.  I die cut one flower out for the card front.

Simply Stamped Zinnias

My 2nd card uses a fun Little Bits die, Park Bench.  I couldn’t help but add a few more dies to create a little scene.  How cute is this little bench?  I used Build a Scene Rolling Hills and Build a Scene Swirly Clouds for my background.  BAS Rolling Hills was embossed with Cable Knit Embossing Folder and I think the pattern looks so cool as grass!

Park Bench

I also used Wispy Grass and Little Bits Sun & Clouds and Little Bits Flowers & Stems for a little more fun.  :)

Whoop whoop!  It’s Day 2 of Release Week and I have 2 more Sneak Peeks for you today!  My first project uses Sack It To You and a new Sack It die, Sack It Dress For Success.  This is truly an innovative die and has some nice variations for a variety of looks.  I made this into a fun, modern, congratulations, for a new graduate, or a someone who is off to a new job.

Dress For Success

Have you been using any of the Build a Tag dies?  I used Build a Tag 1 and Banner Stacklets 2 for my sentiment.  The sentiment is from Sky High Sentiments (wait until you see this set!).  A few stars from Seeing Stars and my tag was complete!

Dress For Success

The pocket and button detail in this die set are so cute! I love the look they give to my suit!

Dress For Success

My 2nd project uses two more new dies, Class Of and Just A Number.  I’m so excited about the number dies, they are a great size, easy to work with, and look so clean to me.  I layered my numbers to make them stand out a bit…and to match my Grad Cap.

Class Of

Grad Cap was released last year but fit this card so well.  Look at those gorgeous numbers!

Hi guys, I can hardly believe it’s Release Week again!  Do you know someone who has a baby due this summer?  My two projects today are perfect for babies.  My first card uses Welcome Little One and I love how these dies are perfectly sized for cards.  I made this card into a shaker card and used Little Bits Baby Confetti as my shaker portion.

Welcome Little One

The patterned paper and coordinating card stock and sequin are all from Double the Joy Matched Kit.  I couldn’t leave it alone with this and added a bow from Min Mix & Matched Bows.

Welcome Little One

Look how sweet Little Bits Baby Confetti looks in there!

Welcome Little One

My 2nd project uses Mama & Me and I decided I wanted to create a mini layout with it.

Mama & Me

How sweet are these elephants?  They are just so cute!  Again, I used Double the Joy Matched Kit for the patterned paper and card stock.

Mama & Me

I love this Little Bits Buggy!  I die cut it in white, but of course, you could use pink, blue, yellow, green, orange or any color!

Mama & Me

P&P Stitched Essentials…wow, I love this set of stitched dies!  I used that that for my green square and mini tag, and green flag.  I just love how it looks!

Find Joy in the Simple Things

My card today uses Tombow’s Jellybean markers and wow!  These colors are, simply put, gorgeous!  I embossed my flowers from Notable Blooms with white embossing powder onto watercolor paper.  Using a watercolor pen brush and the Jellybean markers, I watercolored the flowers and stems.

Find Joy in the Simple Things

Some of the colors, like Process Yellow, I colored directly onto the watercolor paper and used my brush over it.  I thought these markers blended beautifully and the colors are gorgeous!  The sentiment was also embossed, to make it stand out.

Find Joy in the Simple Things
