It’s day 2 of Release Week and I have two more sneak peeks to share today!  My first project showcases a beautiful new set, Simply Stamped Daisies and wow, these daisies are gorgeous!  There are so many new things in this release that I’m excited about, take a look at this new embossing folder, Weathered.

Simply Stamped Daisies

I love how these stamps are layered…they give the flowers and leaves such a nice contrast!  The tag is Build a Tag 5 and I’m loving the stitched border.  I’m also loving the sentiment and font used for Simply Stamped Daisies, and it was a perfect fit for in my tag.

Simply Stamped Daisies My second project uses a sentiment stamp set, Free Spirit, and it has a nice variety of sentiments.  It’s a great all around set for a number of occasions.  I used Happy Birthday for my card today, coming from a big family, I can never have enough birthday cards on hand.  I love this script…I’m a fountain pen lover and this reminds me of something that was handwritten.  I used Frame in Frame Cutting Plate for my frame and Fine Feathers as my accent pieces.

Free Spirit

A few sequins from Build a Scene Sequins and Build a Scene Halloween Sequins (for the stars) were just what I needed to make a shaker card.

Free Spirit I cut the frame several times out of 3 different colors of card stock (I was going for a gradient look), Salt Water Taffy, Cookie Monster and Sprinkles.

Free Spirit

I really like how Fine Feathers has several different sizes of feathers to use.

Hi guys, I hope you all are having a wonderful summer so far!  I can hardly believe it’s August and school is right around the corner for us!  With that said, now is the perfect time to get started on those Halloween projects and today’s sneak peeks are sure to give you some fun ideas!

My first sneak peek uses a fun new set that works well with Peek A Boo Circles, Peek A Book Pumpkins & Die Combo.  I absolutely love the patterns these cute pumpkins have.  I die cut another pumpkin to layer, so it would pop a bit.  There are a few sizes of the pumpkins and would be perfect mixed together.  I used some fun new dies, Little Bits Witch, Little Bits Sign Post and Halloween Confetti for the other two circles.

Peek a Boo Pumpkins

Looking through the dies I had, I came across Ice Border, which is perfect for that drippy goo look for Halloween.  The patterned paper and sequins are from Build A Scene Halloween Matched Kit and wait ’til you see the awesome patterned paper in this kit!

Peek a Boo Pumpkins

My 2nd sneak peek uses some super fun dies…and nothing but dies!  If you liked Garden Arbor & Gate, then you’re going to love Wrought Iron Gate & Fence.  This is definitely has a nice graveyard feel to it and I couldn’t wait to use it!  These dies will also work well with Garden Arbor & Gate.  I took out Spooky Trees Cutting Plate and cut some of the lower branches off.  I really like how it changes the look of the cutting plate!

Wrought Iron Gate & Fence

My accent pieces are Halloween Confetti and Little Bits Witch.  I just love how these dies work for so many things!

Guess what?  There’s a little surprise…

ShellyPopsicleStackletsWed2

I made my popsicle to have a special message in it.  The sentiment is from Sip Sip Hooray.

My second card uses Peek A Boo Circles and I am in love with this die!  I decided to use Wild About You with Mini Leaves.

ShellyPeekaBooCirclesWed1

The leaves and Doodlebug Sprinkles add some fun elements to my card!

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek: Underwater & Sack It Crab

Hi guys, I can hardly believe Release Week is here again, but here we are!  I know you’re going to love this month’s release as it is filled with fun summer projects!

My first project uses a previously released stamp set, Under the Sea, which now have dies that match!  Whoop whoop!  If you have this stamp set,  you may want to add the Under the Sea Die Combo…look how fun my sea critters are!  I created my scene with the help of Build a Scene Underwater and Build a Scene Rolling Waves.  I couldn’t believe how fun this card was to make!

ShellyUnderwaterMon1

Build a Scene Underwater has all these fun little dies to complete your underwater scene…seaweed, grass, shells…so perfect with Build a Scene Rolling Waves!  Look at my 2nd wave, see those awesome bubbles?  I embossed that wave with Bubbles Embossing Folder...I love the texture it adds to the wave!

ShellyUnderwaterMon2

In keeping with the sea theme, take a look at this super cute new Sack It die.  Introducing Sack It Crab!  Crab!  I was SO excited to see this new addition.  My son is a hermit crab master and loves all things hermit crab related.  He immediately wanted a crab cut out for him to make.  I was more than happy to oblige!  I added a few pixie sticks to my crab sack and the kids have had fun getting their treats from their friendly crab!

ShellySackItCrabMon1

I decorated the crab with Build a Scene Underwater and Build a Scene Rolling Waves…how could I not?  :)

ShellyStarBorder5.26.1

Hi guys, I hope you all had a nice Memorial Day weekend!  I’m back with a fun card that uses some great dies…perfect for all your summer cards!  I love the Star Border die and have used it on cards for younger kids, but thought it would be fun to use it differently.  Today’s card would work well for Memorial Day or the 4th of July!

ShellyStarBorder5.26.3

I like a little sparkle in my projects and die cut Star Border twice, once for the red outline and a second time using glitter tape.  It gives it a nice, sparkly, look without being over the top.  The patterned paper is from Summer Nights Matched Kit and the sentiment is from Of Thee I Sing.

ShellyStarBorder5.26.2

I also used Little Bits Uncle Sam and Little Bits Flag.  Do you have any of Little Bits dies?  They are my favorite…so cute and perfect to use as main focus points and/or accents!  Here I used glitter tape for more sparkle, I love the festive look!

ShellyStarBorder5.26.4

Hope you all have a wonderful week, thanks for stopping by!
