We Click

Hi everyone!  I’m back with a super fun card that would be perfect for a friend, other half, neighbor…or whomever you “click with”!  Today’s cast of characters is the Camera Shape Die, a few sequins, a stamp and Wink of Stella glitter pen.

I used my Evolution to die cut the Camera.  Dimensionals helped my layers come alive.

TIP:  If you find your card stock is snug in the die, use wax paper and layer your card stock on top of that…you’ll get a die cut that easily pops out. Easy peasy!  Or, if you have extra foam ejection sheets, that would work well too.

Once my layers were die cut, I attached them and used a Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some sparkle to the lens and flash.

I added some sparkle with a Wink of Stella glitter pen and stamped the sentiment (Paper Smooches).

A few sequins later and my card is complete! Hope you enjoyed today’s card!  Don’t forget that you can get 20% off your total at checkout by using my special code, POP.

Ice Cream!

Hi everyone, summer is in full swing and what makes you think of summertime?  Ice cream, of course!  For today’s card I’m using felt…look at these super yummy colors!  I used the new Little Bits dies, Ice Cream Cone.  Isn’t this die sooooo cute?  I love any little ice cream treat or chocolate dies and these were perfect!  I paired that with the Scribbles Cutting Plate and I love how it looks with the little cones…almost like a strawberry topping drizzled on the background.

ShellyFelt7.19.2Love the fun flavors of felt in Khaki, Lilac, Robin’s Egg and Cherry Blossom.  Do you use felt in any of your cards?  I love the look a little bit of felt can add to my project.  Hope you enjoyed today’s post!

A Special Brew Just For You

Taylored Expressions is having its first ever Retirement Sale! Since 2008, TE has released more than 500 stamp sets and to make room for new products they are bidding a fond farewell to 75 beloved sets. These retiring sets are 40% off and, once they are gone, they are gone! Visit the Retirement Sale HERE and collect your favorites before they get away.

For my post today, I decided to make a cute tea bag set.  My family loves tea and these are quick and easy to make.  Who wouldn’t enjoy tea presented like this?  The retiring set I used is From the Heart and it has so many cute images!  I had a hard time choosing which one to use.  Eventually I decided to make this gift set.

I used the adorable Tuck & Close Notecard and adhered the tea bag with double sided tape.  You could also staple in there.   I layered my circles with Layering Doily Small and added a bit of Burlap Trim to give it an earthy feeling.

Don’t forget to check out the Retirement Sale HERE and grab what you love before it sells out!  Thanks for stopping by!

Don’t Worry Be Happy

Hey guys, it’s a beautiful day and the sun is shining!  My card is perfect for a day like today, with white, fluffy, clouds and nice bright sunshine!  I used Beach Border and thought it would be fun to see it in color.  Days like today would be perfect for hanging at the beach and napping in a hammock!  I used a handful of dies for this scene, Mountain Tops, Sun & Clouds, Wave Border and my sentiment is from Coconut Cove.

Hope you all have a fun day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday

Hi guys, I hope you’re all having a great week so far!  I can hardly believe that the month is more than halfway done, yet here we are with less than two weeks left!  Today I have a super cute birthday card with a dazzling phone…perfect for anyone you know with a dazzling personality!  I used June’s Stamp of the Month and the coordinating dies, Hi, Hey, Hello, to create this card.

I die cut the phone out of Cosmo Cricket’s Crystal Lake and love the sparkly effect and also used Label Stacklets 6 to layer it onto.   This card was super  easy to put together and would be fun to make in other colors!

Best Wishes

Hi guys, I’m back today with a fresh and fun card using some new products from We R (formerly Lifestyle Crafts).

Today’s cast of characters include 2 new dies, Monarch and Chevrons, and stamps.

First I die cut the Monarch Butterflies…twice out of card stock and once out of vellum.

TIP:  If your die cut is “tight” and hard to get out, use waxed paper between the die and card stock and it will cut and release like buttah!

I placed the vellum in the middle to create a soft and dimensional look.

I then used these new Cut Outs, Chevrons,  which are perfectly sized for cards, and die cut it twice…to cover a larger area on my card base.  Post it notes worked perfectly for holding it in place.

All that was left was to stamp the sentiment (Botanical Silhouettes by PTI, no longer available), attach a piece of card stock behind my chevron cut outs, and adhere the Monarch.

Easy peasy!  Don’t forget that my readers are able to save 20% at checkout by using the code POP on ANY products at We R.  Thanks for stopping by!

Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month Hop

Hey guys, it’s time for the Baker’s Dozen and Key Ingredients Designers to team up for the Stamp of the Month hop!  This month’s Stamp of the Month Kit is called Bright Boutique and the coordinating dies are called Hi, Hey, Hello.  This super cute kit has some adorable images and coordinating dies and the June KI Kit includes Simple Stories DIY Boutique collection.  How cute is the sticker from this kit?

I am in love with the cute little circle/heart die, which is actually part of the telephone die.

Be sure to see what the rest of the team has for you today!  Thanks for stopping by!
