Hi guys, I’m back with a super sweet card that shows how easy it is to use pattern paper to create a scene.  For today’s project I used Door to Door, Door to Door Roof, Door to Door Winter Decor, Door to Door Decor and Door to Door Molding, and Build a Scene Christmas Paper Pack to create my cozy look.

I really love how Door to Door Molding has the cut out windows.  I chose the tree and fireplace pattern paper so we would be able to get a ‘cozy view’ of the living room.  I always find it cozy in the winter to drive by homes and see the Christmas trees lit up.  I also used the green polka dotted pattern paper from the same paper pack for the garland and the layering piece on the wreath.   It may be hard to see, but I really like how the roof and molding have the embossed lines on them.

I hope you all have a great week, thanks for stopping by!

It’s Release Day and all the new products are now available at Taylored Expressions!  I hope you’re as excited about this release a I am.  It has truly been a fun week seeing what the rest of the Creative Team has come up with.  Today I’m using Ornaments and Ornaments Accessories.  I die cut the ornaments with gold metallic card stock and love the festive look they have.

The sentiment is from In & Out Christmas and I inked only the word Peace.  I love it when I find more than one way to use something.  🙂

The sequins added a nice touch.  I see so many ideas using these ornaments and I love that there are five different ornaments that come in this set.

Happy Monday, everyone!  October is almost here and I can hardly believe that it’s Release Week again!  I am SO excited to share my sneak peeks with you today, because we have an awesome and amazing winter release! This has to be one of my favorite releases. Without further ado, here’s my first project, that uses Simply Stamped Pinecones and Die Combo. Where do I start? Like the other Simply Stamped sets, this set features pinecones that have 3-4 layers to really give them some depth and dimension.  I stamped and die cut the pinecone twice and used 3D foam tape to pop it up.

I stamped the background with some of branches and used a red Copic marker to add berries to them.  I really like the subtle pop of color it adds.  I decided to use vellum to soften the background and embossed the sentiment in gold.

I love gold and silver in Christmas and winter cards and so I used gold metallic card stock for the die cut ribbon and gold cord to hang the pinecone from.

Here’s a close up of the gold embossing…it’s the little details in a card that make it stand out to me.

My second card is uses a fun new die set, Picture Perfect Horizontal.  This die set comes with two dies and I used the smaller die for my card.  This picture is of my daughter and my niece.  It’s a special picture as they don’t get to see each other often.

I die cut it in white and I love that it says JOY!  I also loved stitched frames and this one is so sweet.  I layered the picture with Mulled Wine card stock and used the Build a Scene Winter Kit for the background paper and card stock.  Like my other card, I used vellum to soften the background.

The die cut trees are from Build a Scene Winter Trees and the snowman….eek!  Isn’t it adorable!  That’s a new die as well, Little Bits Snowman.

The last little detail I have is Snowflake Confetti and these little snowflakes are used for a lot of my projects this week.  It is the perfect size for smaller cards and projects.

Hello everyone! We’re less than a week away from Christmas and I wanted to sneak in here and post my last card for 2014 for We R Memory Keepers!  This card is simple to make and is so pretty with the glittery silhouette!

We R Memory Keepers 5

Here’s today’s cast of characters…Antlers, Banner It Kit, Nesting Squares, Evolution, and Carta Bella Winter Fun.

We R Memory Keepers 1

First I die cut the shapes using the Evolution out of glittery card stock and paper from Winter Fun.  Speaking of the Evolution, did you know that the new Evolution now has a motor you can buy to make it motorized?  Die cutting at the touch of a button!  It cuts like buttah and I’m in love!

We R Memory Keepers 2

I used Nesting Squares, but I see they’re not available now.  There’s also Nesting Squares with the rounded corner available, and I love how they look.

We R Memory Keepers 3

After everything is die cut, all I needed to do was stamp my sentiment (Campy Christmas, Taylored Expressions) and assemble my card.

Hi guys, I’m back today to share an adorable project using the Nesting Tag Dies.  These little bags are perfect for little treats or even, a gift card.  Here’s today’s cast of characters.

First I die cut the tags.  As you can see, the “hole” die fits perfectly in the spot that’s notched out on top.  Then I stamped the cute snowman on each tag (stamps are Frozen Friends, by Newton’s Nook).

I colored each snowman with Copics to match the treat bags.

I found these sweet little clothespins on clearance at Michaels, however, any clothespin would work with them.  I added a bit of ribbon to the tag, put my treat (in this case, some washi tape) in the bag, and closed it with a clothespin.

I love how these little bags turned out. They were quick and easy to make, and sure to be a big hit!

I’m back with a card I made using the Taylored Expressions Pinterest boards as inspiration.  For today’s card, I used Joan’s card as my inspiration.  I love all the white with the pop of red and green.  The embossing folder really stands out to me with all the white….I love it!

I used Winter Flurry embossing folder as my background.  What I love about these embossing folders is that it covers the whole A2 card (if you want it to)!  Because I love the red and green on white, I decided to keep the color scheme, even if it meant red snowflakes!

The sleigh image is from Sparkle & Cheer and I stamped it in Versamark and dusted Perfect Pearls in gold over it.  I love how subtle (and shimmery) it is.  I wanted my sentiment to pop and the Perfect Pearls worked well for this.

Here’s a close up of the shimmer from the Perfect Pearls.

Hi guys, I’m back today with a fun embossing technique called Embossed Embossing. If you’ve never used this technique before, here’s a tutorial from Splitcoaststampers to get you started.  For my Embossed Embossing, I used the Harlequin embossing folder and added white embossing powder to it.  I love how the white looks as my background.

Can you believe I didn’t stamp at all on this card?  I loaded it up with dies and think it’s a fun alternative to using stamps this time.  I used On Dasher On Dancer, Label Stacklets 6, Evergreens and Mitten Garland.

If you haven’t tried this technique before, go give it a try!  I had a lot of fun with it and hope you do too.  Thanks for stopping by!
