Hi guys! If you’ve been waiting for more of the Pocket & Pages Script months, you don’t have to wait any longer! I have a 12×12 layout for you today, using P&P September Script. It couldn’t have come at a better time for me as I had a handful of pictures from last September, when we went to an apple orchard.

P&P September Script

I love the words in the September Script, they are perfect for fall and for your apple orchard memories.  Here you can see I used “apple”.  Here my youngest and my oldest are admiring (and picking!) the apples.

Before we walked to the orchard, we stopped at the pumpkin display they had.  It was warm and sunny and the colors really popped.  They also had chickens and turkeys.  My youngest was pecked by a turkey.  Surprisingly, he didn’t cry, he looked a little confused, but he moved on and forgot all about it.

The orchard provided the wagons to pull your apples and little ones along in.  My little one wanted to walk and my older ones wanted the ride.  Go figure!  I used “today” from P&P Circle Words.  I like how these work with solid backgrounds.

I love the font of  “september” and “fall”.  They cut like butter and I had no trouble at all die cutting them.

I saw several apples, still hanging from the branches, with bites taken out of them.  Eeek!  I didn’t particularly like the waste, but enjoyed how the wasps were benefitting from it (from a distance, of course!).  Here’s a shot of one with a little wasp enjoying his afternoon snack.

A little disclaimer here…I realize this page has a lot of pictures of my youngest.  My older children are at the age where having me click away is not their idea of fun.  And so, my pictures of them were at a distance or behind them.  I promise, I have no favorites!

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy your week!

Hi everyone, I’m back with Day 2 of the Sneak Peeks!  Today I’m featuring Pockets & Pages (P&P) XOXO.  I’ve used it twice on my 2 page layout and love how you can use it with or without the frame.  Below you can see I used it with my daughter.

ShellyxoxoTues16

I also used Pockets & Pages Part of My Heart and used the heart to die cut my daughter out.  I love how it also fits and works with XOXO.

ShellyxoxoTues7

Here I used only the XOXO element and some Doodlebug Sprinkles to give it a little pop.  I also used Pockets & Pages You Are Loved and this is another cool die that you can use alone, separated, or mix and match it with other dies!

The sweet little LOVE circle is from new dies called, Valentine Toppers.  I love how you can use so many (and any) of the Taylored Expressions dies for your scrapbook pages!

Happy Monday everyone!  It’s a COLD one this morning in Minnesota, the governor actually cancelled school today due to the arctic blast that has hit us…wind chills of -50!  School doesn’t get cancelled often due to cold weather so you know it’s dangerously cold today.  I’m so glad I’m toasty here at home!

I have 2 sneak peeks for you today and I can’t wait to show you what they are!  This card features an adorable little love penguin and I love the little heart on his hat!  This image is from Love Makes the World Go Round and it has 5 wonderful scenes for you to pick from for all of your Valentine/Love projects!  The background is another new release, Blooming Hearts Cutting Plate, and it is fabulous as a background, or as a focal point!  I cut out some of the hearts in glitter paper and put them in some of the spaces for a little bling and the snowflake is from Make a Snowflake.

My 2nd sneak peek can be used with the previously released Sack It To You die and is called Sack It Kitty.  I think the little tail is such a cute detail!  I used 3D Foam Squares to pop my eyes up and love the effect.  This is the perfect size to tuck a few treats into for your kitty!  You can also use this die to make cute kitty cards!

Hello, everyone, I’m back today with a sneak peek of this month’s new release and simply cannot wait to tell you about our new line called Pockets & Pages!  Although I’m not a scrapper, I’ve always secretly wished I could be one…but the size, layout, choices…it was all too overwhelming for me.  A few months ago I discovered Project Life (I know, what rock have I been living under?) and was intrigued.  I started to think that maybe, just maybe, I could do it…but I still needed a push!

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was when I learned that Taylored Expressions would be launching this new collection, Pockets & Pages.  There’s no time like the present to get started on something new and I was more than ready.  But where to start?  I had to put my fears aside and just do it (and forget about the fact that I don’t like my handwriting!).  I decided to start with the current year, 2013, as there were several big events that happened…mainly the birth of our 4th child.

I used several new dies for my 2 page layout.  The first two I used were 3×4 Bubble In, which I used for my journaling, and 3×4 Bubble Out, which I used with the black and white photo.  I love how they look!  For my journaling, I wrote with THESE pens.  I used a ruler and drew very light lines in pencil and then erased them when I was done.  The black and white photo also uses Bars of the Week for my “Thursday” and I love these dies too!  The brackets are from Pockets & Pages Essentials 4×6 and I love the size of it!

I love how Pockets & Pages made this so easy for me.  All the elements mix and match beautifully and I didn’t feel overwhelmed putting it together.   You will probably be seeing a lot of pictures and events of my kids.  They keep me busy (for sure!), but I am so thankful for them and hope I am as much of a blessing to them as they are to me.

Go see what the rest of the Baker’s Dozen whipped up for you today….you won’t be disappointed!
