Hello everyone! I have a quick post for the Cameo Spotlight Challenge before I run out the door. I used 3 Mason Jars and Vintage Sun for my card. I thought this would make a cute “Sending You Sunshine” card. A lot of sentiments would work well with this!
I layered vellum on the jar with the sun shape underneath and cut another sun for the top layer and added Stickles for some sparkle.
A little stitching and I’m pretty much set! Patterned paper is from Dots & Stripes (Echo Park). Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
I made a fun card this weekend using the Silhouette Cameo. I haven’t used my Cameo in awhile and I have to say, I’ve missed it! I saw Cute S’mores and knew I had to use it. I’m also following the sketch at Deconstructed Sketch (#61), here’s the sketch:
And here’s what I came up with:
I was so frustrated with my sewing machine, it’s so temperamental and this weekend it decided to be uncooperative. Arrrgh! I’ll bet the next time I use it, it will work smoothly. That’s how it rolls. 🙂
Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
There are a lot of wonderful blogs out there and we all have our old favorites, current favorites and new favorites. I wanted to mention a great blog for Silhouette Cameo & SD users. Debbie, aka DoodlingDebbie, has some excellent video tutorials, adorable freebies, and beautiful projects on her site. She is also a sweetheart to work with.
If you have a Silhouette Cameo or SD and want to know more about designing in Silhouette Studio, get some sweet freebies, or just be inspired, check out her blog, Paper Pulse. Be sure to leave her some love!
This card uses Pocket Lattice from the Silhouette store and Lattice & 3D Flower Collection for the daisy.
Don’t you love how the daisy looks?
This sweetie is from April’s Club kit at A Day For Daisies and was watercolored with Distress and Stampin Up inks. The background is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I just love how cute this image is! Thanks for stopping by!
I used Bunny Rabbit Simple from the Silhouette store to make my own Peeps. Doodlebug glitter was a fun touch and, of course, then I had to go out and buy some real Peeps. I used the Cameo to cut the chicks and a Scor Tape sheet to cut the bunnies again. The Cameo cut the Scor Tape beautifully without any problems. I then layered the Scor Tape over the bunny and applied Doodlebug glitter. Yummy! The card base is Rounded Lattice Card and is also from the Silhouette store. A simple, but cute, mini card! A quick post today as it’s been a crazy busy past few weeks. Lots of doctor’s appointments, running around and in general, keeping up. 🙂 I needed a sympathy card awhile back and used Cheery Lynn dies, PTI banner dies and stamps, and the small square is the Fleur de Lis die (Spellbinders). I cut a custom sized envie with my Cameo to fit the card as the banner makes it an odd size. Last year I bought a ream of Neenah Linen Solar White 24# writing paper to line my cards and found it works well for envelopes too. 500 sheets will last a long time! Thanks for stopping by!
