Hi guys, I fell in love with the winter release from Memory Box and had to buy some the new dies.  Eeek!  I guess you could call this card a follow up to THIS card, from 2012 (where does the time go?).  I love the clean lines these images have and kept my color simple by adding a Poinsettia.  I used glitter tape for the holly and berries on the ornament and let the rest speak for itself.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure how to really use the Poinsettia, but decided to layer it and offset the outline a bit.

Memory Box dies used: Cabrini Ornament, Snowy Scrollwork, Poinsettia Bloom Trio, Bows

Hi guys, I had some dies that I ordered from Oozak finally come in.  They were on backorder and I was so happy when they shipped!  If you have never ordered from Oozak before, don’t hesitate to do so.  Rusty and the crew are wonderful to work with and they ship super fast on all in stock items!

These Peony dies are from Memory Box and I used Peony Outline and Peony Background.  I love Memory Box dies, they are gorgeous, intricate, and always give beautifully detailed cuts!  I also used Script Thanks and love how it’s one continuous word instead of single letters.

The gorgeous red paper I used is rainbow parchment paper.  It looks all red, but it is gradient and you can just barely see some orange in the lower right of the flower.  I had some left over from pergamano supplies I had and think it looks stunning with the peony dies.  I love clean layers in my cards and I die cut the Peony Outline 2 more times and used them as my background.

Another view of my layers.

I hope you love this card as much as I do, thanks for stopping by!

Hi everyone, I’m back with a CAS card I made last week. I’m loving the cherry blossom die from Memory Box, isn’t it beautiful? I paired it with the Tessatina Border die and think the two go well together.

The sentiment is from Expressions For You (Simon Says Stamp) and has so many sentiments in it! I also have the coordinating “You” die, which is perfectly sized and cuts cleanly. Do you have any friends who could use this card? I have a few…I’m thinking I’ll need to make a few more. 🙂

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by!

I made a card a few weeks ago using another die, Meadow Leaf (Memory Box) but layered it to make it stand out. The impression plate (Canvas & Linen, PTI) is one of my favorites and I love the subtle texture of it! I inked the edges of the kraft leaf and adhered only the stems to the card base.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hello, everyone!  I love Memory Box dies and when Ellen Hutson had a sale on them a little bit ago, I decided that I needed to add a few more to my stash.  For this card, I combined Snowflake Ornament, Classic Ornament, Crisp Bows and the snowflake border.  I added Stickles to the ornament and bow to give it some sparkle and layered it on white card stock.

Here’s the inside of the card, the sentiment is from Rejoice. Very CAS, but that’s the way I like them. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Here’s a card using a silver glitter gel pen. I converted my Silhouette Studio file and imported it into KNK Studio and used the gel pen to draw the flourish. Using an exacto knife, I cut some of the rubber grip off of the gel pen to fit it into the blade holder of the KNK. It worked well with this pen, but when I tried it with the pink gel pen, it wobbled a bit and left a bad drawing. I will have to try and figure out how to perfect it as I have other colors I’d like to use.

Both hearts are Quickutz Nesting Hearts and the sentiment is from Winter Schminter (Whipper Snapper Designs). It was hard to get a good picture of the silver glitter gel pen but it really is subtle and so pretty in person. Pink silk embroidery thread was a nice added touch…and I’m done!

This card was made using a flourish heart and antique key from Silhouette and were cut using the Cameo. I cut two black keys and adhered them together, then sprayed them with Krylon Triple Thick Crystal Clear Glaze for some added texture. I think tying the bow took the longest, but all in all, it was a quick card. 🙂

My last card uses one of my favorite dies (ha, I have lots of favorites!), the branch die by Memory Box. I made this one for my husband as we’re celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s been that long but can honestly say, he gets better with age. The hearts are an EK Success punch and the stamp is an anniversary set from PTI.

I love this new set by Papertrey, Love Lives Here: Holiday. It has such a warm, vintage, feel to it. I used the tree dies and Holiday Flourishes & Swirls (also Papertrey) to cut the trees out. The tree in the center was attached with pop dots for some dimension. What a wonderful set and one that I will be stamping more with!

You may remember my other card in my previous post that resembles this one. This time I added some DP (K&Co) and more layers to the snowflake. Tag and stamp are both Papertrey (Tiny Tags), dies are Memory Box Amira Flourish and Spellbinders Labels 15 and Labels 6. Thanks for stopping by!
