I love these stamps by Kodomo! I haven’t tried their stamps before and while I’m sure the rubber stamps are good, the clear ones are poor quality. I knew I was taking a chance with these, but they were so pretty I just had to give them a try. Also, not all clear stamps are the same…there are high quality clear stamps (quality photopolymer), like PaperTrey, Kitchen Sink Stamps, Verve, and the list goes on. These, however, are cheap and don’t ink well. That being said, they do emboss okay and so that’s what I did with this card. If you click the second photo it shows the gold iridescent sparkle it has. It’s really pretty in person.
I needed a get well card for my mother who just had minor surgery. Problem is she healed so quickly that I didn’t even mail it to her! How you like those beans? I used some thick mulberry paper, the kind you use for tear bears and then paper pierced the outline of it. The background lanterns are from Far East (Lizzie Anne Designs) and the sentiment is Get Well Teddy (Kitchen Sink Stamps). I will probably give it to her anyway since I doubt I would need another Asian themed get well card! LOL!
