Hi guys, I’m back with a super sweet card that shows how easy it is to use pattern paper to create a scene.  For today’s project I used Door to Door, Door to Door Roof, Door to Door Winter Decor, Door to Door Decor and Door to Door Molding, and Build a Scene Christmas Paper Pack to create my cozy look.

I really love how Door to Door Molding has the cut out windows.  I chose the tree and fireplace pattern paper so we would be able to get a ‘cozy view’ of the living room.  I always find it cozy in the winter to drive by homes and see the Christmas trees lit up.  I also used the green polka dotted pattern paper from the same paper pack for the garland and the layering piece on the wreath.   It may be hard to see, but I really like how the roof and molding have the embossed lines on them.

I hope you all have a great week, thanks for stopping by!

Hi guys, it’s Release Day (YAY!) and all of the new products are now available at Taylored Expressions.  I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this month’s release.

I am not one to usually use pink as a Christmas color but I wanted to step outside the box and give it a try.  I used an previously released stamp set, Simply Stamped Pinecones along with a new release, Ornamental and Die Combo, for my card.  I used Playful Patterns paper pack and Stitched Oval Stacklets to frame my images.  I stamped the pinecones and pine branches and put vellum over the image.  I love how it softens the look!

I used a sentiment from Ornamental and stamped it directly onto the vellum, then added a few sequins and the ornaments.

I finished the card by adhering the ornaments with foam tape.  I love dimension in my projects!  I hope you’ll go take a peek at the new goodies being released today.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hi guys!  I’m back with a fun Happy Birthday card that uses one of my favorite things, alphabet dies!  I love how these dies, Sweet & Simple Alpha – Upper, fit inside of the balloons from Up, Up & Away Cutting Plate.  I love cheery balloons and think they make sweet birthday cards. I have a lot of birthdays coming up in the next couple of months and can never have enough birthday cards on hand.

This card is all die cut and even though I like to get inky, it’s fun to see what other kind of cards I can make without stamping.  I die cut the balloons from Granny Smith, Lollipop, Lemon Meringue and Cookie Monster cardstock.  I added some matching bakers twine and bows (I was happy I had all the colors). 🙂  Cloud Duo was perfect for my background and I framed it in Frame in Frame Cutting Plate 2.  What kind of birthday cards do you like to create?

Happy 8th birthday, Taylored Expressions!  I am so excited for September’s release as there are so many amazing products this month!  It’s Release Day and all of the new products are now available.  I can’t begin to tell you how much I love this release…Autumn is one of my favorite seasons and this month’s release does NOT disappoint!

I used Simply Stamped Leaves and die combo for my card today and I absolutely love stamps that are layered.  Layered stamps really give you a lot to work with creatively.  I used Taylored Expressions Premium Inks and gold embossing powder for my leaves.  I wanted warm tones for my background and used Gansai Tambi Starry Colors paint to achieve this.  I also used the veins of one of the leaf stamps for my background and really like how it ties in with the Autumn feeling.

Taylored Expressions is celebrating its 8th birthday with some fun party favors! These include everything from the exclusive WISH BIG stamp & die combo set to patterned paper packs, ink, and more!

Happy Release day!  It has been a fun filled week of Halloween!  I know, crazy that we’re thinking about Halloween, but it’s also crazy how quickly it sneaks up on you. Today’s card is great for co-workers or friends that you want to give a Halloween card to.  I used the amazing Diagonal Stripe Cutting Plate and what a gorgeous new die!  I used Oreo, Lemon Meringue, Candy Corn, and Pumpkin card stock along with Playful Patterns Halloween 6×6 Paper Pack (which coordinates perfectly with previously released Build a Scene Halloween Paper Pack).  I just love the way these three colors look together.

I used Haunted Accessories dies for my adorable tombstones and bats.  Aren’t they cute?  The sentiment is from Halloween Doodles and using my MISTI, I was to get a perfectly stamped sentiment.

Hi guys, I’m back today with a card that uses paper piecing and some gorgeous pattern paper from Taylored Expressions!  I used this adorable set, Sip Sip Hooray & Die Combo and Build a Scene Pattern Paper to create my scene.

First I stamped my images and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I then stamped the umbrella and cart again onto pattern paper, fussy cut them, and adhered them to the die cuts.  I colored the rest of the images in with Copics.

The sentiment was stamped with Oreo Premium Ink and die cut from Stitched Banner Stacklets.  If you haven’t tried the new Premium Inks yet, I’d encourage you to keep these in mind. They offer excellent coverage and the inks are nice and vibrant!  Also, Oreo (black) is nice and crisp and perfect for watercoloring and using alcohol based markers.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi guys, today is Release Day at Taylored Expressions and all of the new products are now available!  This release has been so refreshing and fun, a perfect start to summer!  Today I used a stamp set that was previously released, Sunshiny Day, and the NEW dies that were made coordinate with it.

I stamped my images and cut my images and colored them with Copics.  I wanted my images to pop and so I used Oreo cardstock as my card base and layering pieces.  I couldn’t help myself and had to use several new products, Banner Stacklets 4 and Chevron Embossing Folder.
