It’s Day 2 of Sneak Peeks and I’m so so excited to share this next card. This card was created using Stained Glass Cutting Plate and At the Cross 2.  Let me tell you, this is one gorgeous cutting plate!  I had a hard time making my mind up on how I wanted to create my card, but in the end, I decided to use Pico Embellisher.  I was impressed with the results…it really does look like stained glass!

Stained Glass Cutting Plate

The cutting plate cut beautifully and it was a breeze!  After I die cut the cutting plate, I adhered it to a clear plastic sheet. I used the end of a stylus to apply the Pico Embellisher.  I used a stylus because I had way more control over how much product I was using and was able to keep it within the lines of my cutting plate (without running or bleeding).

After it dried, I cut another piece and attached it to the back, or behind the plastic, so it would look finished when the card was opened.  I really love how the light shines through…take a look at the beautiful effect.

Stained Glass Cutting Plate

The layered cross is At the Cross 2 and is one of 3 gorgeous crosses that are being released on Thursday.  This one fits perfectly with this cutting plate and is also designed to work well on its own.

The sentiment is from He is Risen and the cross on the inside is Old Rugged Cross.

My 2nd card would make a great masculine card.  I love Woodgrain Textured paper pack…check out how gorgeous the grey looks with the brown and new Matched card stock color, Sprinkles.  I think this is my new favorite color combo!   The sentiment is from Calla Lily Bouquet.
