Did you know that with your Cameo comes a file called “Control Panel” and it fits your Cameo Control Panel perfectly? 🙂 I had no idea until I saw The Silhouette Blog. How fun is that? I used Cosmo Cricket DP. It’s easy to change out without any fuss and you can have a customized cutter all year round.
You simply take the plastic cover off, pop your piece on and replace the plastic. That simple!
Below is a picture of my friend Gina’s Cameo. Doesn’t it look great? She used a pattern from a Silhouette file and used it as a print and cut. I always forget we have that feature. I love that she added vinyl butterflies too, it looks so good! She is also a professional seamstress and made a custom carry all for her Cameo. I love the outside zippered pocket for the cords. She did such a great job, I just had to share. Love it, Gina!
Below are some samples of how the Cameo cuts. The small key hole is slightly smaller than the size of a dime. To give you an idea of sizing, here is the breakdown:
Large Key 4 1/8″
Small Key 1 7/8″
Large Flower 2 7/8″
Small Flower 1 1/4″
Large Heart 2 3/4″
Small Heart 1 1/2″
This card is a Silhouette file…lots of nice detail and clean cutting. Hope this post gives you a better idea of how the Cameo cuts. Thanks for stopping by!
