Here is my card for today’s sketch challenge.  I love Penny Black stamps and this flower is one of the first ones I bought.  I struggled a little to get this together but it was such a fun challenge to do!  I think I might try this one again and see if it’s any easier.  Browsing through the gallery for the challenge was amazing.  There are so many talented stampers out there that inspire me.

I stamped the images in Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery.  The scallop border was done using the slit punch and I “hand cut” the photo corners by cutting 1″ squares into triangles and cutting off the top points.  The butterfly is on dimensionals and Waterfall Stickles is on both images.

Stamps – Penny Black Casual, Touch of Nature, Feathered Hope (branch background)  Paper – Very Vanilla, Brocade Blue, LeJardin DP, River Rock  Accessories – ribbon, slit punch, Chalk Pastels (used Versamark for the branch background & Bashful Blue chalk), non SU brads, dimensionals, Waterfall Stickles
