For this sweet project I used Valentine Matchbook, Heartbeat, Box & Lids, and Knotty Gift Set.

Here are few more views of the Valentine Matchbook…I love this one! As you can see in the picture, I added a layer of white paper to the top of the mini note, so you can the heart separately.

The bottom row of notes fit perfectly inside of the matchbook.

Here are some mini boxes made with the Heart Box die. I kept them simple and added some washi tape…aren’t they cute?

Next I have Valentine cards I made using Heartbeat. How fun are these? I love how easy these were to make and they’re CAS…my favorite kind of card to make! If you want to see the cards photographed individually, click on the picture and it will take you to my Flickr account. I didn’t want you to have to wait forever for the other 5 pictures to load! :) The sentiments are from Heart Prints (Papertrey Ink stamps).

LoveNotes8

This card uses Heart Insert, Nesting Scallop Squares, and Knotty Gift Set.

My last project uses the Mustaches die, Lollipop alphabet, and Snowflakes. I saw ornaments like this on Pinterest and thought it’d make a cute card!

I fell in love with My Scrap Chick’s newer mini set, Paisley.  She is so sweet!  Made a cute little Hug card using her. Dimensionals gave her clothing a little extra depth.   Love  this new set!

I bought this bag at Joanns last year for a dollar or two.  I knew I wanted to add some rhinestones to it, but put it away and promptly forgot about it.  Eddita (Accents by Eddita) had a freebie on her blog for a rhinestone butterfly and I thought it’d be a perfect match for the pink bag!  Yay!  You can use rhinestone template material or sticky flock to cut your pattern, or you can use heavy card stock.  I used heavy card stock for this pattern and it lined up just fine.

Here’s a card using a silver glitter gel pen. I converted my Silhouette Studio file and imported it into KNK Studio and used the gel pen to draw the flourish. Using an exacto knife, I cut some of the rubber grip off of the gel pen to fit it into the blade holder of the KNK. It worked well with this pen, but when I tried it with the pink gel pen, it wobbled a bit and left a bad drawing. I will have to try and figure out how to perfect it as I have other colors I’d like to use.

Both hearts are Quickutz Nesting Hearts and the sentiment is from Winter Schminter (Whipper Snapper Designs). It was hard to get a good picture of the silver glitter gel pen but it really is subtle and so pretty in person. Pink silk embroidery thread was a nice added touch…and I’m done!

This card was made using a flourish heart and antique key from Silhouette and were cut using the Cameo. I cut two black keys and adhered them together, then sprayed them with Krylon Triple Thick Crystal Clear Glaze for some added texture. I think tying the bow took the longest, but all in all, it was a quick card. :)

My last card uses one of my favorite dies (ha, I have lots of favorites!), the branch die by Memory Box. I made this one for my husband as we’re celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary tomorrow. I can’t believe it’s been that long but can honestly say, he gets better with age. The hearts are an EK Success punch and the stamp is an anniversary set from PTI.
