Tricks ‘N Treats & Fall Elegance

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I’m SO excited to show you some new dies from Lifestyle Crafts that will be available Monday, September 17th. That’s only a week from today!

There’s a lot to share…let’s get started!

I used a mix of new dies and one old die (Rectangle Box die) for this display. The new dies are awesome and are Coffin Box, Frightful Edges, Spider, Skeleton, Build a Monster, Spiderweb Punches, Bat & Moon punches, and Skull & Crossbones punches.

The buckets have fun new borders called Frightful Edges. These are perfect for Halloween decorations and/or scrap pages!

There are also some lovely new Leaf Punches and a gorgeous 4×4 Feathers die. If you’ve seen any of my past posts, you’ll see that I’ve used the feather from Feather Headband Die on several of my projects. It is still one of my favorite dies but now I’ve added the new 4×4 Feathers die and Leaf Punches to my favorites list. They are stunning!

The Leaf Punches are so versatile and look wonderful cut in solid colors or embossed (as I did) in gold. I paired them with Dainty and Whimsy embossing folders.

And if you’re still with me, here is my last project using the new Feathers die, and some past release dies, Nesting Butterflies, Nesting Doily Squares, Butterfly Punches, and Envelope & Liner.

Corner It Kit & Some Fun Alphabets!

Today I have a few projects to share with you using Lifestyle Crafts’ new Corner It Kit and 4×4 Alphabets. Can you say WOW? The Corner It Kit dies are beautiful and are wonderful for tags, cards, photos, journaling squares, and the list goes on. I made a set of tags using the new Corner It Kit and combined it with the Tag It Kit. I used the new 4×4 Alphabet, Parade, on these and they were the perfect size for the tags.

This is what the dies look like AND if you have a digital cutter, you get a code for the cutting files included in the box.

Here’s a card using the Corner It Kit, Nesting Butterflies, and Tag It Kit. DP for the tags and card is from Lily Bee Design Buttercup…my new favorite DP!

I have two more cards to share using the new 4×4 Alphabets Parade and Lollipop.

This card uses Lollipop and the butterfly is from Make It Amazing (Taylored Expressions). Again, I used Lily Bee Design Buttercup DP…did I mention I love this pack?

My last card uses the new 4×4 Alphabet Parade and Ramsay from Whipper Snapper Stamps. A simple, but cute, birthday card, perfect for a little one.

Bloom & Grow

Happy Tuesday! Lifestyle Crafts has some amazing new dies out, the Bloom & Grow collection. The dies in this release are perfect for scrapbooking, card making, and any 3D projects you can think of! This butterfly card uses Nesting Butterflies, Flourish Borders, and Brocade Borders.

I love the Flourish Borders dies, here is a card that uses Botanical Letterpress Printing Plates and the Flourish Border dies. To get the two toned butterfly I first inked it in red, then went back, only inked the edges in black, and ran it through the Big Shot again. A rather bold look, but I like it.

The next two cards use Whimsical Frame, Bouquet, and Flourish Borders.

Lifestyle Crafts Spring Core Collection 2012

I found another use for border dies (other than scrapbooking) and love to use them on cards. This card uses Brocade and Nesting Butterflies from Lifestyle Crafts.

You get two border dies in this set, aren’t they pretty?

Such a clean look using only the border and butterfly die.

I have one more project to share with you today. This one uses the Treat Box die from Lifestyle Crafts.

These are so sweet and would be fun to fill with party favors, balloons, candy, etc. They were super simple to put together and the perfect size for little hands.

Lifestyle Crafts Projects

It’s my 2nd post today and I have a few things to share with you. I’m finding the dies at Lifestyle Crafts to be very versatile and oh so useful.

First I have the Disc Case Die, which is obviously meant for discs…or great for square cards that have dimension to them. It’s a perfect way to make a custom envelope and/or giving as a gift with a CD full of pictures for the grandparents.

The butterfly is from Pretty Peonies (PTI) and matched the Basic Grey DP I used so nicely. I love that the Disc Case Die comes with 4 different tags to mix/match. A little something for everyone!

The 2nd project uses Nesting Frames 9 and Nesting Butterflies. Nesting Frames 9 comes in a nice variety of sizes and is wonderful for layering. The largest die is a little over 5.5″ wide and seems huge. Perfect for scrapbooking, making larger cards, and cute little tags, I can tell I’ll be using these a lot.
