Detailz Dies Are Gorgeous!

Happy Monday, everyone! I’m here to share a new product, Detailz Dies, from Lifestyle Crafts. What are Detailz Dies? They’re dies that cut and emboss and they’re gorgeous!

For this card I used Banners and Flags. I love the shape of the die cuts as well as how deep the embossing is. The sentiment is from Moka Skylar (Taylored Expressions).

This card uses Songbird, which has this gorgeous cage and the bird is on my next card, below. The mini butterflies are from Tag It. I snipped where the butterfly is attached and added a small pearl to cover the perforation. I love these little butterflies.

My last card uses the bird from Songbird and I love the natural feel it has. Take a look at the embossed image!

Felt Bandaids

Hey everyone! I saw on Pinterest these adorable bandaids someone made for their sick and feverish daughter, and thought, I can do that! I used the Nesting Card Templates to cut different sizes of bandaids and small scalloped & regular squares for the centers. I stitched them into place, added the velcro, and I was done! I should have cut the velcro so it would look more finished, but the baby was needing me and I was in a hurry. I used velcro that already had adhesive on it, found in the sewing section.

My daughter loved them! Just as an FYI, the velcro sticks best on the furrier stuffed animals. I think these are so cute and love the stuff I find on Pinterest! If you decided to make your own and want to use the same dies, use my code POP to save 20% at checkout at Lifestyle Crafts.

Love Notes

Ooooh la la! Have you seen the latest release Love Notes from Lifestyle Crafts? It is simply adorable! There’s a lot to show you, let’s get started!

For this sweet project I used Valentine Matchbook, Heartbeat, Box & Lids, and Knotty Gift Set.

Here are few more views of the Valentine Matchbook…I love this one! As you can see in the picture, I added a layer of white paper to the top of the mini note, so you can the heart separately.

The bottom row of notes fit perfectly inside of the matchbook.

Here are some mini boxes made with the Heart Box die. I kept them simple and added some washi tape…aren’t they cute?

Next I have Valentine cards I made using Heartbeat. How fun are these? I love how easy these were to make and they’re CAS…my favorite kind of card to make! If you want to see the cards photographed individually, click on the picture and it will take you to my Flickr account. I didn’t want you to have to wait forever for the other 5 pictures to load! The sentiments are from Heart Prints (Papertrey Ink stamps).

This card uses Heart Insert, Nesting Scallop Squares, and Knotty Gift Set.

My last project uses the Mustaches die, Lollipop alphabet, and Snowflakes. I saw ornaments like this on Pinterest and thought it’d make a cute card!

Snowflake Card & Snowflake Bow Ornament

Happy Friday! I can hardly believe it’s the middle of December, there’s so much to do and I haven’t even started yet. *Grin* I am a lover of snowflakes and this one by Lifestyle Crafts is one of my favorites. The combinations are endless and oh so pretty! I also love my glitter and what snowflake is complete without a bit of bling? The background was cut with my Silhouette Cameo and is a file from the Silhouette online store. I don’t remember the name of the file (I have over 10k files) as it was cut last year for another project, I’m sorry in advance as I know it’s one that will be asked about.

My ornament also uses the 3D Snowflakes and I added a bow from the Knotty Gift Set. This is another set of dies that I use a lot, the bows are great for everything from mini boxes to cards, photos, ornaments, etc. Lighter weight card stock works best with the bow dies as it’s easier to shape the bows without making any creases or wrinkles in them.
