Happy Friday!  Today is my day to share and I’m thrilled to show you what I created using Posh Posies and Distress markers.  I love this image, isn’t it beautiful?  It’s gorgeous as a silhouette and as you can see, works well colored too.

I don’t use my Distress markers nearly enough (for shame!) and so I used them for today’s card.  I colored directly on to the stamp, misted it with Ink Potion #9, and stamped it onto Choice Watercolor paper.  I repeated this step without misting it this time and stamped it on top of my image.  This gave my flower the definition it needed for me to see where my lines were.  My last step was to use a darker color to accent the image directly on my stamped image.

The background is Musical Swirls Impression Plate and I used chalk ink to make the impression stand out.  I love the look of this plate and the subtle detailing.

My other (and first) hobby is photography. When I saw this set by Paper Smooches I knew I had to have it…how sweet is this camera? I combined two sets for this card, Perpetual Bliss and Get Outta Town. I love that another “happy place” for me is to be out with my camera, whether here or on vacation! :)

Soooooo….I’ve been very good lately and decided to treat myself to some Paper Smooches stamps this month. This is what I had waiting in the mail box yesterday, my PS haul! Can’t wait to get some more stamping done!

Good morning! Today I’m sharing a few cards I’ve made over the past few weeks. This card is made with an embossing folder by Darice and butterfly die cuts (Sizzix Bigz & Embosslit) from Stampin Up. Add a few dimensionals and pearls and I have a CAS (Clean and Simple) card that took only minutes to put together.

These two cards were made with a die (Feather Headband) from Lifestyle Crafts. I love this feather! Two feathers come in this set and the other one is quite a bit larger…but equally gorgeous.

This card was made with an embossing folder from SU and a Silhouette file. The flower was cut in multiple sizes with the Cameo and then layered to look like a snowflake.

My last card uses an adorable image from Woodland Critters (Whipper Snapper). I made a cutter file for the stamp, used a SAMJ (Stamp a Ma Jig) to line it up and adhered it with a dimensional. This little guy makes me smile…isn’t he spunky?

Lettering Delights has two delightful calendar sets from Sherri Berry. Aren’t they wonderful? HERE is the first set and HERE is the second one.

Don’t forget Dollar Days will end in less than a week…check out what’s on sale!
