Yet another card with snowflakes! lol! This card uses Papertrey Ink’s (PTI) Friendship Jar stamp set and matching die.  The snowflake stamps are PTI and Hero Arts and the die cut snowflakes are from Shelly’s Art.  I adore these snowflakes and I will be using them a lot!  Once again, I cut the snowflakes with ScorTape and used Dazzling Diamonds on them.  The sentiment is from Holiday Button Bits (PTI).  Thanks for stopping by!

I love my snowflakes and I’ll be the first to admit I have too many.  I am not complaining though, they are so pretty! I cut this snowflake with the Klic n Kut Groove, and used a free file from Monica’s Creative Room. She has some some gorgeous files! I used a Quickie Glue Pen and added Dazzling Diamonds to the snowflakes.  The cardinal is from Just Rite Stamps and was colored with Copics.  I outlined the image using Copics and Dazzling Diamonds and cut the image with Large Circle and Large Scallop Cirle Nesties. I didn’t glue the glittered snowflake completely down as I liked the ‘lacy’ look of it.  Thanks for stopping by!

It has been awhile since I have played with the sketch challenges over at SCS. This didn’t quite come together the way I was hoping, but I still had fun. I love this lemon bowl and glass of lemonade. I added dazzling diamonds to a few of the lemons for some added sparkle. The background paper is from a specialty stack from DCWV and has lots of glitter too! Thanks for looking!

Stamps – Summer on the Patio (Fourishes, LLC)

Accessories – Copics, circle nestabilities, dazzling diamonds, DVWV Specialty baby girl paper stack

Who doesn’t love hot fudge with their ice cream? I had this idea for awhile and finally was able to give it a try. It took me a few tries before I was able to get it to come together. I used 3 different stamp sets from Kitchen Sink Stamps to create this look. The cone is from Playful Christmas, the ice cream is from 3 Step Hydrangeas, and the large circle background is from Pretty Petals. I added micro beads and Dazzling Diamonds to the fudge, which you can see if you click the close up. I know the idea of green ice cream is kind of crazy, but I liked it!

Stamps – Playful Christmas, 3 Step Hydrangeas, Pretty Petals (all Kitchen Sink Stamps)

Accessories – DCWV Baby Girl Nursery DP, satin ribbon, Oregon Rain Drops, micro beads, dazzling diamonds, Wild Wasbi & Chocolate Chip ink & Copics

Here is another card made using this set by Inkadinkado. The scalloped circle was punched with the giga punch (Marvy) and Elegant Eggplant is the main color. I bought some Oregon Raindrops from Pink Hedgehog Paper Crafts and used a small punch to punch out card stock and adhered it to the bottom. It changes the raindrop from clear to any color you happen to have…love it! There is also Dazzling Diamonds around the raindrop. Three petals were stamped, cut out and attached for a nice, 3D effect.

A simple card using vellum and an embossing folder. Image was stamped on Shimmer White card stock using Aqua Mist and Dazzling Diamonds was added for some extra sparkle. I needed something fast and this worked!

I have been bad a posting for the past few months…I’m sorry! Life has been more time consuming than usual (imagine that!). Here is a card I had been working on and put away. I found it the other day and decided to finish it. The stamps are Birds Galore by Inkadinkado and stamp pretty well for being clear. I have had my share of clear stamps that give poor images, however, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these for being cheap stamps.

The image was stamped in Blue Bayou and cut out using Nestabilities. I also used Artfully Asian and stamped the floral DP with it (hard to see though). Sentiment is also from Artfully Asian. I used Shimmer White for the card stock and added Dazzling Diamonds on the swirly parts of the bird.

I have been wanting to make a few gift sets and finally sat down to try a few samples out.  The background of the card was stamped with Pretty In Pink and the background of the image watercolored with Almost Amythyst.  Dazzling diamonds was added to the shoes and leotard.  Very sparkly in person!

This is the second card I made using our free stamp set from Stampin’ Up.  It is a fun little set of cute flowers.  I have seen some amazing cards with this, some are cutesy, some are elegant.  Much more versatile than what I first thought!  I cut out the flowers to make them more 3D and used lots of Dazzling Diamonds.  I love Dazzling Diamonds but am not so sure that my kids and hubby like having glitter on their faces for days after!  It’s impossible to keep that stuff contained….but I can’t help myself…I love the glitter!

I bought a few Thomas Kinkade stamps mainly because my parents are into him and thought I’d make them a gift set for Christmas.  Here’s my first card I made with it.  I wasn’t completely happy with the shade of blue but it was a fun first try!  I used Brilliance ink and I have to say the ink itself is shimmery and pretty.  I also had a bit of a “learning curve” with these stamps.  I found my first image never really stamped that great but the second image was crisp and clear.

I sewed the edges of the main image and distressed the cardstock.  I was inspired to distress the sewn edge by a card I saw on SCS.  I also used dazzling diamonds, but the picture doesn’t show how sparkly it is.
