In honor of World Card Making Day, Taylored Expressions has decided to host a month-long party filled with ultra fun challenges and prizes called the Stamp n’ Send Challenge!
What is Stamp n’ Send? Well, let’s start by asking how many of you have a ton of fab cards that you’ve made just languishing on your craft table? We want you to create and SEND those cards out! Each week, we’ll host a new challenge in the Taylored Expressions Member Forum at Splitcoaststampers.com.
For every card you make AND send (we’re trusting you to actually get those cards in the mail) you’ll be entered into a drawing for a spiffy prize. Plus, for EVERY entry, you will be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize package worth $100 to help you make more cards!
It’s that easy! For EVERY card you create following the challenge requirements, you will be entered into this week’s prize drawing. PLUS, for EVERY entry, you will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for an amazing prize package worth $100!
All challenge details will be available on the Taylored Expressions WCMD Stamp n’ Send Challenge thread at Splitcoaststampers.com. Plus, look for details on how you can earn an extra entry by displaying the challenge badge on your blog!
Now, on to today’s challenge:
We’ve got our final World Card Making Day Stamp n’ Send Challenge for you! Remember, if you’ve missed our other challenges, there is still time to play along, so check out the
Taylored Expressions Member Forum for all the details.
Everyone needs a little encouragement now and again to get them past a hump in life. There are also those times to truly celebrate, those milestones and achievements that couldn’t have been done without the support of those we love.
We are challenging you to send either some encouragement to someone who needs it or some congratulations to someone who deserves it! To help you out, we’ve got a totally cute and fun Inspiration Photo from our very own Taylor Van Bruggen! She is the creative genius behind Taylored Expressions and she has this wonderful image to get you inspired!

So, to be entered into this week’s challenge prize drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate to the Taylored Expressions Store , simply follow these challenge requirements:
~Use Taylor’s Inspiration Photo and create an ENCOURAGEMENT or CONGRATULATIONS card
~SEND your card to someone who needs a positive nudge or who deserves some kudos!
~Come back to this thread and leave a comment telling us who you sent your card to, along with a photo of your card or a link to a photo of your card
Please note that Taylored Expressions stamps are not required to play along so everyone can participate
It’s that easy! For EVERY card you create following the challenge requirements, you will be entered into this week’s prize drawing. PLUS, for EVERY entry, you will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for an amazing prize package worth $100!

Here is my card for the challenge. I made it for a girlfriend who has had a rough year and is starting to come out on the other side. I would move the sun and moon for her if I could, but will have to settle for a card instead.

I used Best Nests and colored the image with Copics. The sentiment is from Mixed Blooms and the leaves are from an exclusive set, Falling For You (and the matching dies), which is part of the October Key Ingredients Kit. Check out how you can get this full sized set at 50% off through November 10th HERE. The patterened papers and card stock are all from the October KI Kit as well.

Hope to see you play along! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Friday, Friends! I have a gorgeous song bird to share today, isn’t it a beauty? I had so much fun creating this card as I love birds and music.

I wanted to keep this simple and sweet and let the image speak for itself. I used Copics on Neenah Solar White card stock and a gorgeous embossing folder, Whimsy (Lifestyle Crafts), for this card. I inked the edges to add some depth and spritzed my seam binding with water and scrunched it up for the bow.

There’s also a new challenge of Anything Goes at A Day For Daisies. The challenge I gave myself was A Touch of Elegance and I used the seam binding and pin to accomplish that. Be sure to play along as it’s an easy challenge to play with! Thanks for stopping by!

Good morning, I hope everyone is having a great weekend! We started this chilly morning off with Pumpkin Pie French Toast and decided that Fall was definitely here! Today I’m excited to share a card made with Madelyn, an adorable image from Taylored Expressions.

The image was stamped onto Choice Snow White and colored with Copics. The background paper is Cakewalk (October Afternoon) and has such a nice, vintage feel to it. The layered borders were cut twice with the Medium Scallop die. I’m loving the colors in this card and hope you do too!
Here’s the Medium Scallop Die:

We have so much to show you this week, this is our BIGGEST release ever with 17 new stamps and stamp sets and 7 new dies and die sets! This release is so big that we extended our Birthday Bash into 5 full days of fun and inspiration. How exciting is that?!?

This card uses a new set called Oh Rats and is so punny! How many times could we all have used a card like this?

I stamped the image onto Choice Watercolor card stock and colored the image with Distress Markers. I LOVE how these markers watercolor! The Curly Border die is also part of the new release and is such a fun and versatile die! Be sure to see how some of the other Baker’s Dozen used this die, you’re going to love it!

The best part is that these stamps come with a matching sentiment for the inside of your cards. The dp is MME Hootenanny and is a wonderful paper pack!

This shows ALL of the Belated Birthday A La Cartes (BBALC) and you’ll be able to choose one for FREE with a $50 purchase through Monday, September 10th. Details will be posted on the Current Specials page.

This pocket card was made with our first ever sampler set showcasing the designs of all of our illustrators. Also, this set will not be available for sale until after the October release, however, for now it will be FREE with any purchase of $150 or more. This set has so many wonderful images in it that will quickly become your go to set for all birthdays. How sweet is this cake?

To make this pocket card, I folded a Mini Lunch Sack to create “pockets” and sewed the sides shut. I used Chalkboard sticker paper and the Frame It Up 1 die and the clip from the Notepaper & Clipboard die to make the mini chalkboard note. You can see from this last picture how the pockets were created before the dp was added.
Be sure to head to Taylor’s blog today to get all the contest details. Play along and guess which designer contributed which image to be entered into a drawing for two stamp sets of your choice! Also, go see what the rest of the Baker’s Dozen has to share, you won’t be disappointed!

Happy Friday everyone! This week’s release, Lemons For Sale, is so sweet! I absolutely LOVE all the images in this release!

I made a pocket to fit the lemonade packet and cut the glass of lemonade out by hand. A little glitter was perfect for the ice cubes.

There’s also a new challenge up, use yellow and polka dots. Be sure to check out the blog for more info on how to win store credit and to get your free image to play along! Be sure to see what the rest of the DT has to show you, there are some fabulous projects to see that will leave you drooling!

It’s release day and all of the new products are now available at Taylored Expressions in the Fresh Out of the Oven Department and Current Specials.
I have some fun projects to share with you today so let’s get started!

My first card uses Happy Trails and was concepted by the very creative Jami Sibley, and illustrated by Doug Applegate of Apple Doodle Ink. It’s such an adorable set and I love all the mix and match elements. Some of the other DT used this set for some amazing scrapbook layouts so be sure to stop by their blogs and take a look.

My next project uses Doodle Notes, concepted by Jen Shults and illustrated by Nancy McKinney. It’s a wonderful way to create little notes of encouragement and works perfectly with the all the new stamps and dies being released today!

Aren’t these mini notes adorable? The Little Bitty Bags Grid/Notepaper fit the mini size perfectly. They are perfect for your child’s backpack, lunch box, and jeans pocket.

I also made a fun treat bag for my little bookworms. This time I used Bigger Bitty Bags…don’t you love the bold chevron pattern?

I filled the bag with gummy worms for them to eat. Pretty fitting for bookworms who like to snack while reading! I made the topper with the Chevron Border die to match the Bigger Bitty bag and Limeade Doodle Twine ties it all neatly together.
All images were stamped on Choice Snow White and colored with Copics.
Be sure to see what the rest of the DT has in store for Release Day!
