Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend! I’m recovering from my son turning 10 and a birthday sleepover. Not sure why they call them sleepovers since the kids never sleep!

Today I’m sharing a card that uses the newest release from Lifestyle Crafts, Pool Party. I’m loving summer and these dies make me happy!

I used a combination of the Umbrella die, Sun die, Waves border die, and Sun & Clouds border die. The adorable sentiment is from A Year of Sentiments (Taylored Expressions).

TE Release Party Continues!

It’s been a super fun week and I have one more project to share with you. All of the products are now available for purchase in the Taylored Expresions store. My last project features Moka Dylan…Pearl’s Merman! Moka Dylan and Moka Pearl are part of the Moka collection illustrated by Nancy McKinney. He’s quite a catch, isn’t he?

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on to Choice Snow White card stock and colored with Copics. For the background, I used the new Waves/Bubbles Impression Plate and lightly airbrushed it. I also used the Wave Border die with Echo Park Paradise Beach patterned paper for the waves.

I think he’s such a sweetie…swimming the ocean for you!

At The Beach

It’s Friday! Today I have a beach scene to share with you. It’s part of the re-release, Beach Party. It’s also time for a new challenge…Texture! Check out the Texture Challenge at A Day For Daisies Blog. Don’t forget to get your freebie to play along!

My texture is the distressed edges and the little shell. I printed the image on watercolor paper and used Distress Inks, SU reinkers, and Derwent Inktense Watersoluable Pencils to color it. I kept it simple and distressed the edges and used jute to tie the shell and beads on.
