In honor of World Card Making Day, Taylored Expressions has decided to host a month-long party filled with ultra fun challenges and prizes called the Stamp n’ Send Challenge!

What is Stamp n’ Send? Well, let’s start by asking how many of you have a ton of fab cards that you’ve made just languishing on your craft table? We want you to create and SEND those cards out! Each week, we’ll host a new challenge in the Taylored Expressions Member Forum at Splitcoaststampers.com.

For every card you make AND send (we’re trusting you to actually get those cards in the mail) you’ll be entered into a drawing for a spiffy prize. Plus, for EVERY entry, you will be entered into a drawing for a Grand Prize package worth $100 to help you make more cards!

It’s that easy! For EVERY card you create following the challenge requirements, you will be entered into this week’s prize drawing. PLUS, for EVERY entry, you will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for an amazing prize package worth $100!

All challenge details will be available on the Taylored Expressions WCMD Stamp n’ Send Challenge thread at Splitcoaststampers.com. Plus, look for details on how you can earn an extra entry by displaying the challenge badge on your blog!

Now, on to today’s challenge:

We’ve got our final World Card Making Day Stamp n’ Send Challenge for you! Remember, if you’ve missed our other challenges, there is still time to play along, so check out the Taylored Expressions Member Forum for all the details.

Everyone needs a little encouragement now and again to get them past a hump in life. There are also those times to truly celebrate, those milestones and achievements that couldn’t have been done without the support of those we love.

We are challenging you to send either some encouragement to someone who needs it or some congratulations to someone who deserves it! To help you out, we’ve got a totally cute and fun Inspiration Photo from our very own Taylor Van Bruggen! She is the creative genius behind Taylored Expressions and she has this wonderful image to get you inspired!

So, to be entered into this week’s challenge prize drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate to the Taylored Expressions Store , simply follow these challenge requirements:

~Use Taylor’s Inspiration Photo and create an ENCOURAGEMENT or CONGRATULATIONS card
~SEND your card to someone who needs a positive nudge or who deserves some kudos!
~Come back to this thread and leave a comment telling us who you sent your card to, along with a photo of your card or a link to a photo of your card

Please note that Taylored Expressions stamps are not required to play along so everyone can participate

It’s that easy! For EVERY card you create following the challenge requirements, you will be entered into this week’s prize drawing. PLUS, for EVERY entry, you will also be entered into the Grand Prize drawing for an amazing prize package worth $100!

TE Stamp n Send 2

Here is my card for the challenge. I made it for a girlfriend who has had a rough year and is starting to come out on the other side. I would move the sun and moon for her if I could, but will have to settle for a card instead.

TE Stamp n Send 1

I used Best Nests and colored the image with Copics. The sentiment is from Mixed Blooms and the leaves are from an exclusive set, Falling For You (and the matching dies), which is part of the October Key Ingredients Kit. Check out how you can get this full sized set at 50% off through November 10th HERE. The patterened papers and card stock are all from the October KI Kit as well.

Hope to see you play along!  Thanks for stopping by!  :)

It’s Sneak Peek time at Taylored Expressions and I am SO excited to share what I’ve been working on! Today I used a gorgeous new cutting plate, Quatrefoil. It is perfectly sized for an A2 card and cuts like a dream in my Big Shot.

oct17

For this card I used Quatrefoil with Poinsettia Bouquet and Many Minis Holiday. Both stamp sets were illustrated by Nancy McKinney and are simply gorgeous. I think these poinsettias make such an impression by themselves or paired with something.

oct16

The card base and patterned paper are from Project Pantry Simple Stories Handmade Holiday. This kit has beautifully coordinated papers and ribbon in it, and has a nice, vintage feel to it. I’m loving this kit!

My 2nd Sneak Peek uses A Bushel & A Peck…don’t you love it? It’s concepted by Jami and illustrated by Doug Applegate. This set was made to use with All Aboard and Loads of Fun. The possibilities are endless with these three sets!

I used two new die sets, Label Stacklets 1 and Snowflakes, for this card. These dies coordinate so well with so many stamp sets…you’ll be seeing me use them a lot! I cut the snowflakes with Kraft and Marshmallow Felt and layered them together. Love these snowflakes, they are gorgeous!

Here are the dies I used today:

All of the new products will be available for purchase on Thursday, October 4th at 8 am PST. You’ll find it all in the Fresh out of the Oven Department at the Taylored Expressions Store.

Be sure to join in on the fun as a fan on Facebook for an early peek at the stamp sets, as well as a SPECIAL Facebook GIVEAWAY, on Wednesday night beginning at approximately 6 pm PST.

Do you want to see more sneak peeks? You won’t be disappointed!

Happy Friday, Friends! I have a gorgeous song bird to share today, isn’t it a beauty? I had so much fun creating this card as I love birds and music.

SongInMyHeart1 - ADFD Digi

I wanted to keep this simple and sweet and let the image speak for itself. I used Copics on Neenah Solar White card stock and a gorgeous embossing folder, Whimsy (Lifestyle Crafts), for this card. I inked the edges to add some depth and spritzed my seam binding with water and scrunched it up for the bow.

SongInMyHeart2 - ADFD Digi

There’s also a new challenge of Anything Goes at A Day For Daisies. The challenge I gave myself was A Touch of Elegance and I used the seam binding and pin to accomplish that. Be sure to play along as it’s an easy challenge to play with! Thanks for stopping by!

Good morning, I hope everyone is having a great weekend! We started this chilly morning off with Pumpkin Pie French Toast and decided that Fall was definitely here! Today I’m excited to share a card made with Madelyn, an adorable image from Taylored Expressions.

Birthday Madelyn 1

The image was stamped onto Choice Snow White and colored with Copics. The background paper is Cakewalk (October Afternoon) and has such a nice, vintage feel to it. The layered borders were cut twice with the Medium Scallop die. I’m loving the colors in this card and hope you do too!

Here’s the Medium Scallop Die:

Sassy Flower Fairy 3

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone has had a good week.  I’m so excited to share an adorable new image called Sassy Flower Fairy, which is party of the September Club Kit 2012.   All the images in this kit are so sweet and it was hard to pick just one for today!

Sassy Flower Fairy 1

Sassy Flower Fairy 2

The challenge this week was to use a tag, so I made a card with a pull out tag to use as a topper or a bookmark.  For my card, I used Wildflower dies (Lifestyle Crafts), Library Pocket die (Taylored Expressions), vellum, a Pergamano butterfly I made a long time ago, Copics, and of course, some Stickles!

Sassy Flower Fairy 4

For more info on the Club Kit, you can read about it HERE.  Don’t forget to take a peek at the $2 deal…she’s a cutie!

Be sure to see what the rest of our very talented DT has to share, they really rocked it!

Hello! Today I’m sharing a sweet card using a new release, Let’s Chat and the matching dies. I love this set, it’s sooo adorable!

MissYou1

MissYou2

I die cut and stamped the image on to Choice Snow White and colored it with Copics. The Curly Border die was perfect with this set! I cut the scallop with the Medium Scallop die and used My Mind’s Eye Hootenanny. This is such a fun paper pad and I love all the patterns in it! Using the curly border, I was able to layer it over the scallop border for a seamless look without having to use ribbon.

Here are the dies for today’s card:

Sept14

Sept10

Today I’m featuring the gorgeous set, Mixed Blooms. How do you not love this bouquet of flowers? I used Circles Background and added a layer of vellum to it for a soft background. The bouquet was colored with Copics and a bit of sparkle was all I needed for it to be finished. I love this sentiment and think it’s perfect for birthdays, thinking of you, and pick me up cards.

Sept12

Sept11

Today I’m also showing off a fabulous new die, Bake Me a Cake. This is such a fun die! I used mine on a card but was tempted to make a magnet with it. I added paper glaze and some chunky glitter to bring it to life and used a sentiment from You Take the Cake. I love the shape of the cake and all the fun elements to it!

Here’s Bake Me a Cake:
