TE Love Bugs

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I thought I’d make my sweetie a Valentine using this adorable set Love Bugs. I love that the set includes coordinating dies, no fussy cutting by hand for me! I also used Quatrefoil Cutting Plate and Banner Stacklets 1 and Key to My Heart dies. I die cut the jar twice and put a layer of vellum over the top for a softer look.

Tip1

I’ve had several emails asking how I adhere cutting plates to my cards and guess what? It’s super easy! Here’s my tip…use 1/8″ X-Press It Sticky Tape on the outer edges and it’s a perfect fit. Here’s a shot of the outer edges with the tape on it. I don’t worry too much about the rest of the cutting plate if I have an image that will layer over it. Otherwise, I use a Quickie Glue Pen to dab on here and there.
