Taylored Expressions January Spotlights: Oh What a Holiday & Bless Your Nest

I’m back spotlighting 2 new releases and this CAS card uses Oh What a Holiday. This fun set is a follow up to Oh What a Day and covers a nice variety of holidays. I think this heart tree is adorable and love the warm tones using Kraft cardstock. I colored the tree with Copics and couldn’t resist putting a few green dots on there for my tree and sponged the edges with chalk ink.

My 2nd card uses Bless Your Nest and Many Mini Occasions. I decided to layer the Swirls Cutting plate and used the coordinating die for the bird. I initially wasn’t sure if I should layer them together, but I really like the texture and dimension it adds. I think other color combinations would work well together too. The bird was cut using glitter tape (again) and makes it stand out a little more than just black cardstock. I love the sweet heart button!

ACK! You’re a genius! (Like we didn’t already know that!) What a fab idea to layer two swirls backgrounds together! I love your CAS card with the valentine tree also.

These are AMAZING! I love that first card. It might be my favorite of this entire release. I love red and kraft and that just ROCKS it! Gorgeous work today!

Soo Fabulous Shelly!! Wow! Love your Darling Kraft Valentine!! Love the way the coloring just Pops on the kraft! And OMGoodness!! You are a super crafting genius, with your double layers of swirls and darling sparkly bird!! I just Love coming to visit, I always leave with a big smile and so inspired!! Great projects my friend!
