A month or so ago, McGill contacted me to see if I’d be willing to write a tutorial on how to make these 3D mini roses using their products. Of course I said yes! They are quick and easy to make and can be made to match your project perfectly.
These are the supplies I used to create the roses. Click HERE to view, download, and/or print the pdf of the Mini Rose Tutorial.
This gorgeous image is Beautiful Mother from A Day For Daisies. For instructions on how to create this card, click HERE. I’d love to see what you come up with. Feel free to link up your mini roses and cards/projects under my comments and I’ll leave some love for you!
I’ve made and used these roses on a lot of cards. I’m adding some of my past cards for added inspiration.
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial, now go create something fun! Thanks for stopping by!

What a lovely array of cards! I especially like the Fan…I assume it is Pergamano?????? If not, would love to know what you used to make it…TFS!

Thanks, Jan! You are correct, the fan is Pergamano and it was my first attempt at it. The precision required for Pergamano is amazing, and something I haven’t done since, lol!

Shelly,
Thanks for the tutorial and your beautiful cards. I have this punch and never use it because I don’t like the one dimensional flowers.
Have a great day.

What a great tutorial – I’ll have to get this punch so I can make these myself. It will be great to have flowers in colours that will match my cards perfectly! Thanks for much for sharing.
Your collection of cards are stunning

Shelly, the way you design makes every card you make be the envy of every Hallmark card ever made. I love the way you put everything together. I could spend the day looking at your card creations. Please keep these coming.

Debbie, you sure know how to make a girl feel good! I’m not sure it’s true, but it did put a smile on my face. I love all your videos and creative files, you know how to make my brain get moving with your ideas!

Hi Shelly,
I just ordered the Memory Box dies for the card with the snowflake border & ornament. Can you tell me if the ornament die is the small one or the bigger one? I didn’t know there were 2 sizes. Hope I didn’t order the wrong size!
Shelly
Here are the SKU#’s of the ornaments dies I used. Also, the smaller dies cost less, they’re $5 each, retail.
MB98231 Snowflake Ornament
MB98211 Classic Ornament
Hope this helps…have fun creating!
