My other (and first) hobby is photography. When I saw this set by Paper Smooches I knew I had to have it…how sweet is this camera? I combined two sets for this card, Perpetual Bliss and Get Outta Town. I love that another “happy place” for me is to be out with my camera, whether here or on vacation! :)

Soooooo….I’ve been very good lately and decided to treat myself to some Paper Smooches stamps this month. This is what I had waiting in the mail box yesterday, my PS haul! Can’t wait to get some more stamping done!

PS Haul

I’m leaving you with an oldie but goodie…a picture of my boys taken three years ago. They grow so fast!

Yum! I love coffee/tea themed stamps and this mini set by Papertrey is adorable! Ever have those mornings where you roll out of bed and this is what’s on your mind? I treated myself (and my husband) to a venti this morning…hellooo weekend!

I caved and bought some new stamps (shhhhhhh!!!)…I’ll be sharing my Paper Smooches haul soon…stay tuned!

Sweet As Can Be

I’ve had this die cut hanging around forever (since last summer?) and originally had it on a mini card. I wasn’t liking how small the mini card was, and so, decided to make a new, regular sized, card with it. Do you ever rip your older stuff apart to make something new? :)

The stamps (and die) I used are Hanging Out and Baby Button Bits, both by Papertrey Ink. Seems funny to me that it would take me hours to essentially put this together, but in the end, I liked how this looked, better than my previous attempts. Thanks for stopping by!

Feelin Blue

Who wouldn’t love getting a card with different colored lobsters on it? This card was made for an old challenge at Paper Smooches Sparks. I had fun with this challenge and though this set is an older (and NLA) set from Kim Hughes, it still made me smile putting it together. I think I’ll be needing to order some Paper Smooches very soon…there’s just too many sets that keep me coming back for more!

How sweet is this little bunny? I always like to keep some baby cards on hand and this image is perfect for that! This is the same bunny I used for THIS card. The image was colored with Copics and the stars were colored with glitter gel pens.

This is part of the April Club Kit and sadly, is the last image I have to share from it. April isn’t over yet though, there’s still time to get the Club Kit at a huge discount by signing up. Thanks for stopping by!

Easy Breezy 1 - ADFD

This card uses Pocket Lattice from the Silhouette store and Lattice & 3D Flower Collection for the daisy.

Don’t you love how the daisy looks?

This sweetie is from April’s Club kit at A Day For Daisies and was watercolored with Distress and Stampin Up inks. The background is from Cornish Heritage Farms. I just love how cute this image is! Thanks for stopping by!

Butterflies1

I’ve had my eye on this stamp and die set for awhile now. I was so happy to see it at Joann’s last week and used a 50% coupon on it, which made it a great deal! This card was cut for something else but it worked well with the butterflies, so I used it anyway. I used Circle Nesties to cut the frame and adhered the large butterfly to the inside of the card.

Butterflies

The butterflies were colored with Copics and I love the dimension this card has. Next month I’m taking the Copic Certification class and I’m so excited! My coloring skills could use some instruction and of course, I’ve been a huge fan of the instructor, Debbie Olson, for a long time! Yay! I will let you all know how it goes, I can’t wait! Thanks for stopping by!

LittleDance ADFD

Hope you all had a great week, but hey, it’s Friday and it’s beautiful out! This beauty was watercolored with Distress and Stampin’ Up inks. She is part of this week’s release at A Day For Daisies, called Dance Time. Wouldn’t all those dancers you know love this on a card or scrap page?

I have some long Fabriano cards and this image fit perfectly on it, yay! Background DP is retired from Stampin’ Up and the ribbon is Old Olive, also Stampin’ Up. Hope y’all have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Lifestyle Crafts is offering FREE SHIPPING on orders over $25 through the month of April! Woohoo!!! Take a peek and be sure to use promo code “POP” for 20% off if you see something you like!

Spellbinders & Cheery Lynn

Happy Monday, I hope everyone had a nice weekend! I love these Spellbinder dies, Twisted Metal Tags & Accents. I see lots of possibilities with these dies and anyone who knows me, knows I love possibilties! :) I kept this card clean and simple and added a Cheery Lynn Butterfly. The butterfly is colored with Copics, with two bottom layers for more dimension. The middle layer is embossed with Swiss Dots and a few pink pearls complete the look. Thanks for stopping by!
