Did you know that with your Cameo comes a file called “Control Panel” and it fits your Cameo Control Panel perfectly?
I had no idea until I saw The Silhouette Blog. How fun is that? I used Cosmo Cricket DP. It’s easy to change out without any fuss and you can have a customized cutter all year round.
You simply take the plastic cover off, pop your piece on and replace the plastic. That simple!
Below is a picture of my friend Gina’s Cameo. Doesn’t it look great? She used a pattern from a Silhouette file and used it as a print and cut. I always forget we have that feature. I love that she added vinyl butterflies too, it looks so good! She is also a professional seamstress and made a custom carry all for her Cameo. I love the outside zippered pocket for the cords. She did such a great job, I just had to share. Love it, Gina!
Below are some samples of how the Cameo cuts. The small key hole is slightly smaller than the size of a dime. To give you an idea of sizing, here is the breakdown:
Large Key 4 1/8″
Small Key 1 7/8″
Large Flower 2 7/8″
Small Flower 1 1/4″
Large Heart 2 3/4″
Small Heart 1 1/2″
This card is a Silhouette file…lots of nice detail and clean cutting. Hope this post gives you a better idea of how the Cameo cuts. Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, wow, wow, that Cameo is such an amazing machine. Hard to believe that it can do such small cuts so intricately!!!

Thanks for showing the intricate cuts next to the dime–I think I am convinced that my craft room needs to make room for the Cameo some time soon.

They have a cute carrier/case (roller style) for it that also holds your laptop and other items in. You know you want the Cameo, lol!
