For the Bride To Be

I received my new Silhouette SD safe and sound over the weekend (Thanks, Michelle!). Wooohooo! This little cutter looks small next to my Maxx, but don’t let that fool you. The dress and heart cut beautifully. I cut the dress out of white card stock and vellum, then embossed the skirt of the dress. The bottom layer of the skirt is vellum. I was impressed with the quality of the cuts and the detail is amazing. I’ll have more to show you later but wanted to get this card posted. I am thrilled with the Silhouette SD and will be cutting a lot more with it. Don’t worry, this in no way takes the place of my KNK Maxx, but rather, is a welcomed addition. Thanks for stopping by!

Glitter Glass Butterfly

Can you tell I love this set? I promise I have other projects that don’t use these butterflies, but humor me while I share yet another butterfly card. This card was made using Oh Hello Flutter, cut in different sizes. The smallest butterfly has glitter glass for some sparkly texture. I used Nestabilities to cut the frame and used vellum for the window. I love the light the vellum lets through. Thanks for looking!

Guess What’s Coming to Lettering Delights?

We are just about ready to release our introductory product in multiple cutting file formats. If all goes well, it looks like late next week…. The first 50 sets available in these formats are what we are labeling “simple shapes”. The are ONE-LAYER images. There are at least 15 images/set. We will also bundle all 50 sets for one SUPER BUNDLE with a price of $49.00! With over 780 images, that price brings down the individual images to just a little over 6 cents/image!! Oh Hello Butterfly #2

Admittedly, I love butterflies. I have lots of butterflies…punches, stamps, cutter files, paper, and I love and use them all. This card was made with Lettering Delight’s, Oh Hello Flutter. I used black card stock and white embossing powder to keep the clean and simple feel. The stamp is from Papertrey Ink (With Sympathy) and the sentiment (SU Fabulous Phrases) is also embossed.

Oh Hello Butterfly

Good morning! A few months ago I discovered Lettering Delights. They have a little bit of everything, printables, fonts, digital paper, and of course, svgs. I made this card using Oh Hello Flutter and simply love this set. I’ll have much more to share with you so be sure to stop back and visit.

For this card, I used a background stamp by Unity, Everlasting Romance, and adhered linen vellum over it. It softened the look quite a bit, perfect for my purposes. I cut the moth/butterfly out in three sizes and added mini rhinestones to accent the card. I used part of the stamp design for the butterfly’s antennae. Hope you like it!

Make a Wish

Here is a simple birthday card made with Papertrey Ink card stock, stamps and dies. The larger butterfly die is from SU Beautiful Butterflies, dp is Cosmo Cricket. I love how quickly this came together. Thanks for looking!
