Here is a butterfly I created with a SU Bigz die. I cut the top two layers out of mulberry paper, sprayed them with Tattered Angels and used a heat gun to dry and shape them. I did the same thing with the coffee filter layer and then adhered them to a card stock butterfly to support the layers. The stick pin has Swarovsky crystals and pearls on the top half, and smaller pearls on the lower half.

Supplies – SU Bigz Butterfly die, mulberry paper, coffee filter, chalk ink, Tattered Angels, stick pin, crystals, pearls, Fleur di Lis die, cardstock and dp both PTI

Isn’t this “baker” sweet? I kept this card simple and only added a birthday sentiment. The image and sentiment are both from Whipper Snapper and adhered with pop dots.

I was thrilled when (thanks to Sandy’s post HERE) I was able to use KNK Studio software to trace this stamp and cut it using a digital cutter. I love my images cut out, but let’s face it, it isn’t always easy or convenient to do it by hand. My KNK decided to take the weekend off so I converted my file and cut it using the Gazelle. Perfect! Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies – PTI Kraft cardstock, Ramsay, All Things With Love, PTI Double Ended Banner Die, pop dots, Copics, KNK Studio software, Bosskut Gazelle

Isn’t this a fun card?  It’s part of Shelly’s Art Quarterly Membership.  You get 20 cutter files for $10…now that is a steal.    I didn’t use all the elements for my card, but you get layering mats and pieces…that’s .50 for over 15 cutting pieces for this one card.  The cutter files come in GSD, AI, KNK, WPC and SVG…a little something for everyone.

Now for the deets…the stamped flowers, stamped butterfly, dies and mail are from Papertrey.  The butterfly is a SU bigz die and the daisy is from Bosskut.  I used Smooch on the daisy and love the soft shimmer it gives.  I also used a Popkut flower from Bosskut and layered it with the Fleur Di Lis die from Spellbinders (inside).  The sentiment was stamped and cut out with more Spellbinders.  Thanks for stopping by!

I’m back with a few more cards to celebrate Whipper Snapper’s new release of Anna’s cling sets.  The fish card was fun to make…a fish blowing kisses?  I’m sure the end result is lots of bubbles!  Check out Feelin’ Fishy for more fishy fun.

The butterfly card uses one of my favorite verses, I Cor 16:14 “Do everything in love”. I stamped the larger butterfly with the background stamp and added the sentiment below it.  These sentiments are from All Things With Love.  Dies are from SU, PTI & Spellbinders.

What’s sweeter than this fox sitting in her patch of flowers?  I wish it was warm enough to join her, lol!  Maybe she’s waiting for her friend to show up.  The birds and snail are just a few fun friends from this set, Fox Friends.

The cupcake card is filled with yummy goodness.  The pink polka dot background is fabric I had for a quilting project and I liked how it fit into the card.  I love Cupcakes and Sprinkles!

I’m back with more Whipper Snapper fun!  For the first card I used Cupcakes & Sprinkles.  I think this set is amazing…there are so many fun ways to use the cupcakes.  Who doesn’t love a cupcake?  Especially a chocolate one!  Yummmm…

The second card is from Fox Friends and Cupcakes & Sprinkles.  I used one of the cupcake bases for the fox to sit in, accompanied by her two little friends.  The two x’s are stitched with twine and I kept the rest pretty simple.

The last card had me giggling…would you like a crabcake, fishcake, or cupcake?  I made my cupcake with lemon frosting in honor of the lemon bars I made yesterday.  I also added a healthy dose of dazzling diamonds for some extra sugary goodness.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello again!  Here are some more cards I made using Anna’s new cling sets from Whipper Snapper.  I love the versatility in each set and that you can mix and match them.  The possibilities are endless.

The first card uses Fox Friends and is so unbelievably cute!  I stamped the trees onto wood dp and used Copics to help them stand out a little.  The foxes were colored with Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencils and then cut out and placed in the woods.  If you haven’t tried these watercolor pencils, grab a coupon and get some…they are awesome (I bought mine at Michaels).  The color is bright and vibrant, and perfect for blending or layering color.

The second card uses a sentiment from All Things With Love and is so versatile.  I love sentiment sets and this one is wonderful.  I used ribbon to create the awareness ribbon and thought this sentiment said it all.  I used a Quickutz stitching template and embroidery thread to create a subtle background for the ribbon.  Paper, ribbon and banner die are from PTI.

The last card combines Feelin’ Fishy with All Things With Love.  I dressed the crab in a hat and bow (both are QK dies) and love how he appears to be dancing!  The sentiment cracks me up and I’m thinking it will get lots of use, lol!

Happy Monday! Did you remember to set your clocks ahead yesterday? Well it might be an ordinary Monday for most people, but not for us. Today Whipper Snapper is releasing 4 new cling sets by Anna Wight. Let’s start the week out right and have some fun!

For the cupcake card, I combined two sets, Cupcakes & Sprinkles and All Things With Love.  After I colored the cupcake, I stamped and cut the cupcake out of ScorTape and used Diamond Dust to add some extra sparkle.  I’m loving the mix and match cupcakes, sprinkles and sentiments.

For the next card I used Feelin Fishy and combined two of the sentiments for this one.  Isn’t the little green fish the best?  He has such a knowing look on his face, it doesn’t get any better than this.  I used Quickutz wave dies, Nestabilities and lots of pop dots to bring these characters to life.

Be sure to check back as I’ll be sharing more Whipper Snapper fun with you throughout March and April.  Also, have fun checking out the galleries and/or blogs of the other Featured Designers…you’ll find lots of amazing talent. Thanks for stopping by!

I had some time to play this afternoon and so I combined two of my favorite things, butterflies and roses. I airbrushed the rose, attached it to the butterfly, then sprayed them both with Smooch.  The sparkle is soft and elegant.  The flower stamp and die are from Papertrey Ink, Larger Than Life, and the sentiment is from Cornish Heritage Farms and no longer available.

The butterfly is from Bosskut and is a part of their new Pop Kuts line.  It is available in AI, GSD, WPC and PDF format.  The beautiful rose is from Just Laury, Simple Spiral Rose, and is available in AI, GSD, KNK, WPC, SVG formats.

Thanks for stopping by, I always appreciate new and familiar faces and a friendly smile!

Papertrey has done it again with their Friendship Jar line.  This one is from their newest release, Friendship Jar Spring Fillers. The flowers are from Larger Than Life (and matching dies) and  the butterfly is from Love Lives Here Die set.  I used vellum to layer over the mail in the jar to soften the look and added some ribbon to finish it.  I’m patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for Spring and I love the soft colors.  Thanks for stopping by!
