This is another card using Anna Wight’s new release, Swimmin’ By. Isn’t it cute? Mama fish is taking her babies out for a swim, or perhaps a play date?

Image was colored using Copic markers and the background was airbrushed as well. Eyelets were added at the bottom with some twine. DP is from PaperTrey. Thanks for looking!

Anna Wight has done it again with two new sets, Swimmin’ By and Beach Bum.  Both were released yesterday.  I love how her sets have so many possibilities and how cute they are.   The images were colored with Copic markers and the backgrounds airbrushed.  I completed the cards with embossing folders, twine, eyelets, glitter, and Nestabilities (large oval & large deckle rectangle).  For more inspiration using these sets visit the Whipper Snapper Designer Gallery  at SplitCoastStampers.   Thanks for looking!

My sweet husband bought me an air compressor for Mother’s Day (don’t worry, I asked for it!).  This is the first card I made using it (for the background).  I might have over done it but it was so fun to use.  I guess I’ll be an airbrushing fool for a while, so bear with me until I get it out of my system!  Until then, enjoy the color!

Stamps & Accessories –  Inkadinkado, sewing machine, Copic markers, Martha Stewart glitter (bronze)

I made 20 various note cards measuring 3 1/2″ x 5″.  After I was enabled to buy a few hundred envelopes I figured it would be within my best interest to use some of them!  Ha!  This gift set was for a friend who recently received her graduate degree, woohooo!  I know she sends out note cards and thought she might like to have some hand made ones to use for her peeps.  Sorry the pictures aren’t the greatest, I was in a hurry when I took them.  Thanks for looking!

Stamps – Lockhart, Whipper Snapper, Stampin Up, PaperTrey Ink, Hero Arts

Most of these images my girlfriend in Chicago sent to me.  Thanks, C!  I love them and will post more later.  The first few cards are from Penny Black and the last one is from Lockhart Stamps.  Both companies have a nice variety of images and will get your creativity flowing.  Thanks for looking!

These stamps have been so fun to color.  I love my “bird” stamps and these have so many possibilities to create with.  I used Copic markers to color my images and accented them with Spica Glitter pens.   DP is from PaperTrey Ink  and K&Co.

Now on to my exciting news….I have been asked to design cards for Whipper Snapper’s upcoming release!  Woot woot!   This will be fun!  I can’t wait to get started and will share when I can.

I was browsing a blog that showed how to make these gorgeous flowers.  I accidentally closed out my window and haven’t been able to find it (grrr….) so I can’t give credit for it.  I’m sorry!

I made a few changes to them, but cut these flowers out using Plantin Schoolbook at 1/4″ intervals.  My smallest flower is 3/4″, the largest is 1 3/4″.  I then inked every other flower to give it some dimension and curled them with my finger tips.  I did the same for the leaves, they were cut at the same sizes as the flowers.

The colors are Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi (retired) both from Stampin’ Up.  The stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms (LOVE their stamps!).  The pearls are from Martha Stewart.  Who knew that paper flowers could be so pretty?  Thanks for looking!

Here is the other adorable stamp by Sugar Nellie I bought.  I left the mailbox off of this card, the two images are large enough to hold their own.  I tried to get a close up of the hem of the shirt, as I used a Spica Glitter pen and it looks really cute.  Unfortunately, it is hard to photograph the sparkle.   These two cards are my first attempt so it will be fun to color some more.  Thanks for looking!

Stamps – Sugar Nellie

Accessories – Cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon, oval nestabilities, Copics & Spica glitter pen

Doesn’t this little sweetie remind you of Spring?  I pierced the DP but because of the print it wasn’t visible so I added some embroidery thread and a few beads.  I realize that it’s still hard to see because of the light color, but I felt it added just the right accent to it.  Thanks for looking!

Stamps – Sugar Nellie

Accessories – Prima, button, embroidery thread/floss, beads/shells, Copic markers & Spica glitter pens, Chocolate Chip card stock, K&Co DP, rectangle deckled nestabilities

It seems that I, Miss Popsicle Toes, was given an award by my friend, Lisa.   Check out this girl’s blog, she’s beautiful and a Hero Hostess (so jealous!) and very talented.  I don’t have anyone to pass this on to (sniff sniff), but that’s mainly because I haven’t kept up.  You’ll enjoy Lisa’s work…go treat your eyes to some gorgeous creations!
