BIA Photo Wallet

Well, here we go again…my post disappeared! So here is a shortened version of what I wrote before….

I wanted to try the photo wallet again with more pages and thought the Bind It All would be perfect for that. This is great for those who have lots of photos to show off. I added five pages for photos, with three open spots for journaling. I bought the velcro circles at Wally World in the sewing department and cut them in half. The coil is 5/8″ which will still open/close easily once the photos are added. Thanks for looking!

Photo Wallet

I have been wanting to make a photo wallet for some time, I think they make really cool gifts. I followed the tutorial at Split Coast Stampers and in no time had one done. Each spot opens up and for a photo and journaling. I used Baroque Motifs to keep it fast and simple and used some velcro to hold it closed.

Soft Birthday Wishes

While I was feeling inspired I did another card using Touch of Nature. Sorry the images are so large, I wanted to try and capture some of the details. I used the Shimmer White, Silver, Blue Bayou combo for my Stamp A Stack and wanted to try it with this flower. I love how the flower turned out…I used dazzling diamonds on the inner circle of the flower. The shimmer paper is beautiful with this card in real life. I dragged out my huge sewing machine and sewed the border…I obviously need a little practice…but in my defense I had to do it with the foot pedal between my knees. That is how I sew since I always seem to have little babies who are more than willing to “help” me with that foot pedal. I’m betting that I wouldn’t be able to sew at all if I tried to do it the “right” way. Ha!

Non Traditional Christmas Card

I found myself, once again, reaching for this set and decided to go with it! LOL! It is hard to capture in a picture but I used shimmer white paper and dazzling diamonds…what a sparkly card!

Lovely Night Tree

Well, go figure! I have been trying to post now for a few days and they keep disappearing….although this one seems to be fine. Sheesh!

I cut a template using my Coluzzle and sponged Night of Navy to create the rectangle on to some beautiful white shimmer card stock. Then I stamped the tree in Night of Navy and used the ultra cool Copic glitter pen (atyou Spica in clear) to add a little more sparkle. I bought the pen from All That Scraps in clear and black, they are so sparkly! I also added a bit of silver ink on the torn edge of the card stock. Thanks for looking!

Well, here is one of the cards….I am going to add them one at a time to see if that makes a difference. Unfortunately they won’t be all together. We made four cards for the SAS I had over the weekend. The tree card was a complete CASE from SCS and was a huge hit with the women. We had a great time and everyone is excited to do the next SAS.

Lovely Tree

Okay, so I am caught! I wanted these jumbo eyelets for awhile and finally broke down and bought them. I have had these now for at least a few weeks and for the life of me can’t remember what I wanted them for! I couldn’t just let these sit there being unused and decided I had better break them in. I have to tell you, I LOVE these things!!! Maybe it’s just me, but I only see these gorgeous eyelets when I look at this card….only kidding (or am I?)! *laughing* I’m cracking myself up!
